1. State meeting to be held in Avondale November 17th, it is being hosted by St. Joseph the Worker and Msgr. Koenig Auxiliaries. This is also the State pie and cake contest. Congratulations to Zora LaFleur for winning 1st place in the cake contest on the district level. She will compete on the State level at this meeting.
2. Congratulations go to Jewell Leboeuf for winning the Pie contest. She will be competing also at this meeting.
3. Congratulations go to Flo Landry for being chosen Sister of the month for September. She is our Church person always there to help.
4. November 1st is All Saints Day, there will be a Mass at St. Bernadette at 7 PM. This is the first Thursday of the month, therefore there will be no PoKeNo Game this month.
5. November 2nd is the first Friday of the month, Adoration in the Chapel will be from 12 PM til 9 PM. Let’s all give an hour for the Lord.
6. Our regular business meeting will be on Wednesday, November 14, at the KC Home. We will discuss our Christmas party.
7. November 20th is our regular pot luck social and November 22nd is Thanksgiving Day hope that all will have a good Thanksgiving. We need to give thanks for all our blessings.
8. November 18th is our monthly Mass at St. Bernadette Church at 8:00 AM. If you would like to bring up the gifts call Bell Ardoin.
9. A BIG THANK YOU TO ALL LISTED: Bell Ardoin for chairing the cake sale and Shona Portier for the drinks sales. Janice Armond, Flo Landry and Carolyn Songe for Auditing the books. Thanks to all who came and helped with the Social Services interviews. To everyone who helped at the Downtown on the Bayou and the Columbus Day banquet. Finally, all who helped to make our District meeting a big success.
10. This year we didn’t have a blood drive at the KC Home. Blood can be given at Terrebonne General. You can give blood every two months. We have six months to make our quota. Be sure to mention KC 7355 when giving.
