Dear Ladies,
Congratulations to Laura Rivette chosen as Sister of the Month for August. Laura is a very special person, who is active in the Church and Auxiliary.
October 3rd is the monthly PoKeNo game at Peggy's house on Wayne Avenue.
October 4th is Adoration in the Chapel from 12 noon til 9 PM. We ask that you try to spend about an hour.
October 9th is our regular business meeting. We will discuss the Columbus Day social.
October 15th is the Columbus Day Banquet at the KC Home. This is a Pot Luck social so try to come and bring your favorite dish.
The week of October 14 thru the 18th we will be doing interviews for the Catholic Social Services Christmas toy drive. This year we will be doing interviews at the KC Home 5522 West Main Street. We need volunteers, if you can help call Bonna LeCompte.
October 18th is our monthly Family Rosary at 7 PM. We will have the Home Association meeting afterwards.
October 20th is the Auxiliaries monthly Mass at 8 AM. If you would like to bring up the gifts let Bell Ardoin know.
The TARC hayride will be held October 25th. The Knights provide a hayride for the children at TARC. The ladies are needed to ride with the children and help in the serving of food. If you have never done this it is a experience you won't forget.
October 3oth is our first District meeting. It will be held at Our Lady of Good Voyage in Grand Caillou. This will be the district pie and cake contest. The meeting is hosted by the Houma Auxiliary and Good Voyage. We will leave the Church parking lot at 6 PM. Congratulations to Zora LaFleur, first place in the cake contest. others were Shona Portier second, Belle Ardoin third. Pearly Kramer won first in Pie contest. Both will advance to the district contest. Good luck ladies. Judges were Suzanna Guidry, Lelia Guidry and Ida Robichaux of the Houma Auxiliary.
