Roses for the lady,
heavenly scents,
that prove desire.
Roses for the lady,
given from all ages,
to the ladies fair,
to woe them for love.

Roses for the lady,
candy and perfume,
for a prelude
of hopes and
dreams to come.
Says a secret message
from his heart to her,
as she puts
them in a vase
of water which
signifies acceptance;
Puts one rose into her hair.
The smile upon her face
satisfying him.

He feels just like a king
to bring,
Roses for the lady.
For in his dreams
he hopes to
make her his queen.
