Originated in South East Los Angeles (Bell,
California) Movimiento del Sol is a blend of Cumbia, Salsa, Latin Groove,
and some original stuff of our own. Our whole purpose is
to make people dance, feel good, and to spread the truth of what this
country, and this world, is like behind the curtain of artificial beauty
the media creates. Whether it be about the government, the ongoing war, life in our
city, police brutality, etc., we feel that it is important to help the
public in knowing what is going on in this country, and the world, behind
closed doors. The government denies us our right to the truth and
fairness. Therefore, we must fight to obtain what should rightfully be
ours in the first place.
