Coach Hebert, who brings 10 years of coaching experience both as a head coach and as an assistant, will take the position vacated by Coach Newcomb who has retired from the coaching profession and is currently working on his second book which is tentatively named "My Grill, My Ice Chest and Me" which should hit the bookstores soon. This follows last year's release titled "Being a Mom in the New Millenium" which was on the best-seller's list for 22 weeks. We would like to congratulate Coach Newcomb on last season's 18-0 J.V. record, thank him for his countless contributions to the program and wish him well in his future endeavors.

Greg Cahill has been named the new Boys Basketball Coach at Slidell Junior High. He takes over for Winky Mowen who will remain as an assistant in charge of the 7th grade team.
