Stations 78/79 - Nine Mile Point VFD

Nine Mile Point, LA gets its name from a channel marker in the Mississippi River. The community consists mainly of residential property and a convention center is located across the highway from the new station on US-90. Nine Mile Point boarders Avondale, Bridge City, and Westwego.

Engine 798 is the newest addition to the Nine Mile Point VFD. This 2002 Ferrara is assigned to the new station.
