Stations __/__ - East St Charles Parish VFD

East St Charles VFD is located in East St Charles Parish and comprises the communities of Destrahan, New Sarpy, Good Hope and various other small communities along the Mississippi River in south Louisiana. There area covers the Mississippi River, various canals and swamps, River Road and Airline Highway. A large part of their activities include the chemical plants, refineries and oil storage facilities along their side of the river. For a small community they have a very nice selection of equipment including a beautiful 30's model Ford antique that runs like a top. The fire department is in the process of building a very large brick station along River Road in New Sarpy. Large communities nearby include Kenner, downriver and Norco upriver.

Engine 811 is a 1995 Ferrara pumper and is assigned to the station in Destrahan in Ormond Estates.

Tower 831 is a 2000 E-One with a 105' ladder. It is very handy when fighting some of those fires on those million dollar homes in the area.
