Stations 72/73 - Live Oak Manor VFD

The Live Oak Manor VFD is located in Waggaman, LA covering an area comprised of residential, heavy industry, chemical refining, and transportation including marine, rail, and tank truck traffic. Neighboring fire companies include Luling to the west or upriver, Herbert Wallace to the south, and Bridge City to the east. The Mississippi River borders the north.


Live Oak Manor Volunteer Fire Company's rescue is located in Waggaman, LA, just across the river from the New Orleans International Airport in Kenner, LA.

Nice looking 1996 Ferrara/Freightliner operated by the Live Oak Manor Volunteer Fire Company in Waggaman, LA. I get a lot of positive comments from all over the country about this truck.

Engiine 3 was one of the original pieces with the Live Oak Manor VFD when the company was formed back in the 60's.

I believe this is a 1982 or 83 Mack squrt with a 50' boom. It is identical to the one the the Bridge City VFD had.

Engine 736 is one of the oldest engines still operating with the Live Oak Manor Volunteer Fire Department. It was refurbed several years back with the addition of roll up doors all around.
