Station 53 - Leipsic

text here

Leipsic Volunteer Fire Company's Station 53 is located east of Dover, Delaware in Kent county. Leipsic is a small farming and fishing community along the Delaware Bay waterways. They have also just received a crewcab pumper that is not in service at the present time. Hopefully I will get some shots of the new apparatus when I return to Delaware.

Finally in service, this 2000 International/New Lexington is the newest piece in the Leipsic Volunteer Fire company's arsenal. A lot of the smaller companies seem to be going with the crew cabs to carry more firemen to the scene. Truck looks great.
