Note the higher rear section of this 1991 Pierce pumper. Additional water storage is provided for pumpers in rural locations. This truck carries 1250 gallons of water and some pumpers carry almost 3000 gallons. This is one of 7 pieces of apparatus assigned to the Little Creek Volunteer Fire Company in Little Creek, DE. The alligator is their mascot even though alligators are not located in Delaware. I offered to bring them one but they declined.
