Ball Information
The Krewe of Triton Ball, Tableau & Indoor Parade is held annually the Saturday before Ash Wednesday at the Cajundome in Lafayette, Louisiana. The Tableau (Court Presentation) starts at 8:30 p.m. with the Indoor Parade (put on by the Merry Men of the Krewe of Triton) immediately following. After the Tableau and parade, the ball commences with music and dancing continuing until 2:00 a.m.
Attire for the evening is formal. Men should be in tuxedo and ladies in floor length gowns. The one exception to this is the Krewe members who "mask" (dress in costume) for the parade. They are allowed to stay in costume all night if they so desire.
To attend the Ball, you must be a member of the Krewe, invited as the guest of a member or royalty or you may purchase seats from the Krewe. Seats for this fantastic event are only $60 each to the general public.
