CTF (Capture The Flag)
Basically it is how it's said. You must capture the opponent's flag and bring it back to your team admin to score a point. Most games go to 10 points before the game is over. Rules
• Each member of each team will receive a set of CTF equipment that they must use during the CTF games. The object is to retrieve your opponent's flag and bring it back to your team admin. The flags of each team are placed in a flag room at the team's base. You may not enter your own team's flag room, or you will be kicked from the game as a penalty. You'll be able to log back in and continue playing afterwards.
• You absolutely can NOT use outside equipment for this game. Doing so will immediately eject you from the game.
• When you retrieve the flag of the other team, you MUST equip it IN the flag room. You can not run out of the flag room without it equiped, and if you die, people will know that you didn't equip it.
• Do not "CAMP" in another person's base. This means, that when a player dies and is summoned back by an admin, you can NOT stay on the screen and PK them until they walk off the screen or equipped their equipment. It is unfair to the unequipped and vulnerable player.
• After every game, an MVP (Most Valuable Player) award will be given to the player who's performance was the best. It can consist of either number of flags returned, or number of flags returned and number of kills a certain player had.
• Each player will receive gold for participating, for both winning and losing teams.
• Every now and then there becomes an imbalance in the game where there are either too many players, or 1 higher level player than all the rest. This then implements an "Insane Spectator" option. An Insane spectator basically runs around killing players on both teams. After the game is over, the insane spectator will receive an award for his performance. The insane spectator will usually be the highest level participating in the CTF. If someone happens to kill the insane spectator (based on their level), they will receive a prize for doing so.
• CTF's are usually held on Saturday and Sunday nights at 9PM CST. There must be 8 players (over level 10), and 2 admins on to play. If there are any more rules that need to be listed, or if I missed any, I will add them. Please E-mail me if I missed any.
Prize Grabber
During a time when there's a lot of players on, there will be a point where people are asked if they want to play this. If so, you'll be warped to a room full of 1 HP npcs (10 screens large). These NPCs will drop Prize Tokens (not all the time). You will have a limited ammount of time where you can collect these tokens. After the time is up, you have a chance to spend them on something, or save them until another Prize grabber happens. Everything is pretty much legal except the rules that are posted in the Rules section. This game is still under construction.
Underground Arena
This is where fighting tournaments will be held Details for this isn't finalized yet, but there are some rules. Fights in the arena will be held monitored by an admin. They will tell you when to start a fight, stop a fight, and put you in the arena you wish to fight in.
Tournaments will be held with at least 8 players (all within 20 levels of each other) and 1 admin. Prizes will be awarded to players that come in 1st, 2nd and 3rd. 3rd place will be determined by a fight between the 2 losers of the semi-final match up. You may use your regular equipment in these fights, and you will not lose them if you die.
Rules
• Anyone that kills spectators of these matches during the admin monitored fights will automatically receive a 2 hour jailtime. Any players that cast spells on the participants (good or bad) will also receive a 2 hour jail time. Please respect these events as they go on.
Shapeshifter
A Shapeshifter, if you didn't know already, is an NPC (Non-Playing Character) that takes place of an existing NPC on a certain map. It will take on the NPC's stats, and look, so the only way you'll know it's a shapeshifter is if you click on it. A Shapeshifter can be anything, anywhere, anytime. The drop rate is 1 in 2 and it can carry something from 1 gold piece to a valuable piece of treasure. If the Shapeshifter takes the place of an NPC that has no stats, then it will be given 1 hit point, which will be easy to kill.
If announced that the Shapeshifter is out somewhere, do not claim that you found it and killed it even when you didn't.
Bar Room Brawl
This is basically a free for all fight where the surviving fighter wins a small prize. This is nothing big and enjoyable to all. You will not lose your items during this fight.
Cliff Jumper
This is a type of gambling game. You pay a specified ammount of gold, and you start to "jump" down a cliff. You pick certain routes, which lead to certain goodies. Of course, some are good, some are bad. Do not complain if you spent 10k to get an elixir. It's all part of the gamble you take.
The prizes and routes to certain places will change every couple days. One person will be allowed to run the same course a specified ammount of times before they are denied entry to play again until it has been reconstructed. This is to prevent winning the same prize multiple times.
This game is also monitored by an admin, so no one cheats.
This is all that I can think of right now. If you have any ideas for any mini games, or if I missed a current one, please E-mail me. Thanks.
