Funky: Come on now.. you lost.. now you gotta pay up.

Scene opens with Funky pushing Sabrina towards the stage at the front of the rumpus room in the eMenagerie building. There is a small mic and speaker. Sabrina is thrust towards them as Funky takes her seat with the others. Miguel pokes his head in and watches all of this unfold.

Sabrina: Geez, how do I get railroaded into these things?[rolls up her sleeves as she steps up to the mic] Okay.. just one song.[she brushes her hair back and tries her best to keep her heart from bursting out of her chest. She takes a deep breath as the music starts playing]

Azul: [eating a bag of chips] This ought to be good.

Groovy: [steals some chips from her] Give her a break.. besides I hear from Funky she can put on a show.

Music softly plays as Sabrina closes her eyes and tries to focus. Miguel smiles and walks towards the stage. The girls: Azul, Ebony, Funky, Groovy, and Reiko all watch as he makes his way there unknown to Sabrina.

[lights dim as the spot light hits her, the light shimmering off of her specs]

[plays with her hair as she fidgets from anxiety]

[her eyes closed she tries to focus on the words but doesn't notice Miguel next to her]

[Miguel takes a hold of a mic and sings]

[Sabrina's eyes open wide as she turns and sees him next to her]

[Her face turns pink as she looks up at him]

[Miguel winks at her as she smiles at him]

[both turn and face the audience]

Miguel: Wishing on a star

[Miguel pats Sabrina on the back with his tail to comfort her]

Sabrina: Listen to my prayer

[Sabrina plays with her hair again as she sings]

Miguel: I hope you can hear my heart

[girls look at each other in shock]

Sabrina: Will you hear my heart?

[girls then look back at Miguel and Sabrina]

Miguel: I hope my dream will come true

Sabrina: Can I believe in tomorrow?

Sabrina: Magic bottle tossed about by destiny

[looks over at Miguel]

Miguel: Two strangers fall in love.

[Miguel looks back at her]

Sabrina: A lonely message brings us together

[Sabrina's face turns pink and she looks away]

Miguel: Listen to my prayer

[both turn and face each other as they sing ]

Both: Destiny finally brings us together.

[scene changes to the park where they first met, only now it's covered in snow. Flakes softly fall]

Sabrina: Memories always make me cry

[Sabrina walks in the snow towards where the patch of clovers was]

Yesterday always brings tears

[She remembers Miguel leaving and bumping into a tree]

Tomorrow is so far away

[She remembers him punching the tree and getting buried under twigs and stuff]

Is this feeling love?

[She giggles then sighs as she walks off]

[Scene goes to Miguel at his desk clicking on a pic of Sabrina on his computer]

Miguel: Those happy memories

[A pic of him and Sabrina waltzing appears on his screen and moves around the screen]

[He looks at it and sighs, resting his head on his hands]

[Sabrina looks over his shoulder at this. He notices her and shuts it off]

[She smiles at him as he sinks a bit back, his face red]

[Sabrina takes him by the hand and gets him out of his chair]

Miguel: Wishing on a star

[Miguel trembles as she places his hand on her waist and takes his hand ]

Sabrina: Listen to my prayer

[She leads him and they waltz around the office]

Miguel: I hope you can hear my heart

[Miguel sweating bullets tries not to step on her feet]

Sabrina: Will you hear my heart?

[Sabrina smiles and rests her head on his chest as the dance]

Miguel: I hope my dream will come true

[Groovy walks by in the hall outside and freaks]

Sabrina: Can I believe in tomorrow?

[Sabrina picks her head up and looks at him]

Sabrina: Magic bottle tossed about by destiny

[Miguel trembles and smiles weakly at her]

Miguel: Two strangers fall in love.

[They both stop dancing and stare at each other]

Sabrina: A lonely message brings us together

[They both move closer to each other and are about to kiss]

Miguel: Listen to my prayer

[about inches from each other they both turn and see everyone in the hall looking at them]

Sabrina: I hope you can hear my heart

[Both steps away from each other sweating trying to hide their blushing faces as the scene returns]

Both: Destiny finally brings us together

[Miguel and Sabrina stare at each other as the song ends]

Everyone stands silent, not sure what to say, well all except for Funky who stands up and claps. The other girls do as well. Miguel and Sabrina look away and put the mics down.

Miguel: Um.. I have work to get back to.[walks off]

Sabrina: Um yeah.. and I have to go pick up Tabitha.[walks off as well]

The girls boo as they both leave for their separate appointments. In the back, seated at a table is Astral. She sips her herbal tea and deals her tarot cards.

Astral: [shakes her head] Those two will never learn.[deals the lovers card] Then again.. I suppose.. neither will I. [puts her empty cup down and leaves as the scene fades to black]
