The scene opens with Manabu running off from her home to school. Behind her a younger girl tries her best to catch up.

Rei: Hey sis wait up!!!! You know I hate walking to school alone!!!!

Manabu: I can't I have an appointment to keep![continues running]

Rei: [gets a wicked grin on her face] Oh you're going to meet up with lover boy aren't you?

Manabu:[stops in her tracks and runs back to her. Her face scarlet.]W-what makes you think I'm going to see Ian?!

Rei: I wasn't thinking about Ian, but it seems you were.

Manabu:[face turns even more red]I-I...was not!!! Anyway he's just a friend.

Rei: [walks past her] Sure he is. Hey you're secret's safe with me.

Manabu:[walks with her]I did I end up with you as a sister?!

Rei: I think it has something to do with us having the same mother and father.

Manabu: Geez. Okay look I am going to meet him but please don't say a word to mom or dad okay?

Rei: Well.......

Manabu: Or you can walk home from school alone!!!

Rei: Okay okay, geez.

The two girls continue walking neither saying a word. That is until they come to a busy bus stop. Some boys there make comments as they walk by. Rei shrinks a bit and walks closer to her sister but Manabu pays them no mind and continues walking. One of the boys walks after then and walks next to Manabu. She pays him no mind but Rei begins to sweat bullets. Then the boy's hand goes for her backside and then is suddenly caught. Manabu and Rei turn around as they see a young man holding the boy's hand and twisting it. The boy is unable to break free.

Ian: [Still holding the boys hand] If I had a face like yours pal, I'd make up for it by having manners!

Manabu: Ian!

Rei: Wow!

Boy: Hey! I was just having a little fun!

Ian: [applies greater pressure to the boy's arm making him cry out] And you call that fun?! Grabbing a girl's backside without permission?! [let's him go]I think you need to find a better source of entertainment. Now beat it while you can still walk away.

The boy runs off as Ian glares at him. As he turns to the two girls his face becomes a smile.

Manabu: [blushing] Thanks Ian.

Ian: No problem, just saving that poor lad from what you would have done to him.

Rei: Are you kidding she would have wet herself if he had.............

Manabu: [elbows her in the ribs] That's enough. Your school's a short ways that way. Get going.

Rei: But? [ a bit worried]

Ian: Manabu! I won't in good conscience send her alone to school after what just happened. It's not far off as you said so lets walk with her.

Manabu: Okay.

They walk with her up to the entrance to the school. She waves goodbye to them and walks in but then comes back with another wicked grin on her face.

Rei: Gee sis, he's a very sweet and caring guy you should snag him while you have the chance. [winks at Ian]

She giggles as Manabu's face turns red as a beet. Ian smiles and places his arm on Manabu which just makes things worse for her as she breaks into a cold sweat.

Ian: That's for her to decide so don't put any pressure on her. Have a good day at school. [waves to her]

Manabu: [walking away with Ian] I-I-I-I'm very sorry about that I.........................

Ian: Hey no need it's the nicest thing anyone's said to me. So forget it okay?

Manabu: I'll try.

Ian: Besides it wouldn't work out I mean think of what our children would look like?! A Tanuki and human child?!

Manabu: [looking down] Yes well. I guess you're right.

Ian: Is it me, or do you seem a bit down about that?!

Manabu: [turns red again] Um no I was think about something!

Ian: Okay. Listen Bu-chan; things are getting kind bad. The beasts are in an uproar over this whole thing.

Manabu: They don't like me very much do they?

Ian: You know what's at stake here, can you blame them?

Manabu: But why are they so eager for me to fail?

Ian: Cause if you do then the Great Dragon will return the earth to the beasts and animals like it was in the beginning. But I won't let that happen and neither will you.

Manabu: No I won't.

Ian: Good girl

Manbu: But still, couldn't you guys give me the ability to transform in these costumes instead of running around finding places to change. You have NO idea how tough that is on me.

Ian: Um.....that's not my department. Sorry.

Manabu: Sigh. I'm just afraid I'm going to get caught with my pants down. Literally. [turns red and winces and hides her face]

Ian: Well I'll watch your back. Um that didn't sound right. What I mean is I'll make sure that doesn't happen.

Manabu: Thanks.

Ian: That's what I'm here for.

Manabu: Yup. Um Ian......... [fidgets a bit]

Ian: Yes?

Manabu: Um.... [looks at her watch]YIKES!! I'm going to be late for school!!!! [runs off]

Ian: Excitable girl she is.

Manabu runs into the hall and meets her two best friends. One is a girl with her hair tied back and curls hanging as bit and pieces of her bangs. This is Kekko Desu. She is talking to another girl who is digging through her locker. This girl had light hair and has it sticking out far out of the sides of her head in two strange pigtails. This is Kawaii Desu and even though they have the same last name neither is related to each other. Kekko brushed her hair over her shoulder as Manabu arrives.

Kekko: Hey about time you got here, stopped to chat with weird boy did we? [smiles a rather wicked smile]

Kawaii: [still digging] Oh stop it and leave her alone. [pulls out an inflatable pig and stares at it with a surprised look. She then shrugs and throws it back in and continues to scavenge through her locker again] I know my books are in here somewhere.

Kekko: While your at it look for your brain you bubble head.

Kawaii: Sure and I bet I'd find your modesty in here too.

Kekko: [turns to her] HEY!! Take that back!!!

Manabu: Now now come on you two it's too early for you to declare war on each other.

Kekko: Your right, after all she defenseless in a battle of wits alone.

Kawaii: [finally has her books] Hey I'm not that much an airhead you know.I'm not some joke waiting to happen. [shuts the door of her locker and turns up her nose to Kekko and walks off. However she slammed the door of the locker on her skirt and it rips as she walks away.] Sigh, it's a good thing I always carry a spare just for such an emergency. [covers her now exposed bottom with her books and walks off to the girl's bathroom]

After she leaves both girl burst into laughter. So much in fact that they must lean on each other to prevent from falling over. After a while they stop with tears in their eyes and regain their control.

Kekko: Ahem, that girl never fails to amuse.

Manabu: [holding her aching sides] Yeah, but I still feel a bit sorry for her.

Kekko: Yes definitely a case worthy of pity. So how was you meeting with nature boy, did he ask you out yet?

Manabu: [turns red] NO!!!!! And that's not why we met!!

Kekko: Too bad, he seems to be going to waste hanging out with you.

Manabu: [clinches her fist] Are you saying he can do better with you?!

Kekko: No , just wanted to see if you really like him, and you answered that one straight out.[walks off]

Manabu: What?! Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!! There are times when that gal can be a pain in the rear!!

Kekko: [pops back in] Only cause it's the quickest way to your brain!

Manabu: That it!

She chases after her and they both room off screen The scene changes to the girls in gym class. They are playing Volleyball. Manabu goes for the ball and gets it spiked deep in her face as she is sent flying into the dirt. Kawaii runs over and helps her up.

Kawaii: You okay?

Manabu: Well if the imprint of the volleyball leaves my face soon yes.[looks over at the other team high fiving each other.] Let me guess who spiked the ball?

A girl much smaller than the rest with long reddish-brown hair, is put down by two other girls and walks up to her. She is Reiko Tsunami; a group of girl follow her.

Reiko: Sorry if I hit the ball to hard, but that was a good move you tried, but a word of advice try not to use your face to stop the ball next time.

Kawaii: Geez I may be slow but even I can tell when something is done on purpose. Um[looks puzzled] did I just insult myself?

Reiko: You have NO idea.[shakes her head]

Manabu: Yeah well whatever, if you'll excuse me I'm off to the restroom, so please refrain from nailing me in the back on my way over there.[walks off]

Kawaii: Want me to come?

Manabu: Um.. I think I can handle this...I've been going by myself to the restroom for quite a while now.[walks off]

Kawaii: Just asking?

Manabu walk into the Girl's bathroom and washes her face. She looks at the huge indention on her face and sighs. She then walks over to one of the stalls. When she opens it Ian in his Tanuki form pops out.

Ian: There big trouble on it's way here!

Manabu:[Jumps up on the sinks] EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEKK!! You scared me!!!!!! I thought you were a rat or something!!

Ian: [rolls his eyes] Gee thanks, you look lovely too. [points to the huge mark on her face] Anyway there's trouble here at your school.

Manabu: [climbing down] Geez can't I even go to the toilet in peace !! [walks in and slams the door behind her]

Ian: Well you're in a chipper mood than this morning ![stand s by the door]

Manabu:.......................................................Do you mind, don't stand near the door!! As a matter of fact go wait outside!!!!

Ian: Geez and if I refuse what are you going to chase me out?![suddenly a look of terror comes over his face]

The scene changes to outside as Ian rushes out the door with a several rolls of toilet paper come flying after him and pelt him.

Manabu: [voice from inside] And stay out!!!!!

Ian: [pulls himself out from under a pile of TP] Man she must really be in a bad mood, usually she just chucks me out the door. [Manabu's hand pokes out of the door and pulls him back in] GAAAAAAAAAAAAHHH!!

Manabu:[washing her hands] What is it that was SO important?

Ian: Well I picked up negative energy at your school so I came here to warn you. It was negative energy given off by evil intent.

Manabu: [drying her hands] Well that could well be any of the teachers at this school.

Ian: [arms crossed] Very funny!

Manabu: Look I don't think that any evil force would want to show up here, the students barely want to come here. So what makes you think that they would. [suddenly there's a scream outside.]

They both peer outside and they see a group of girls attacking the girls that were out in the field. They appear to be dressed as Cheerleaders.

Manabu:[looks at Ian]Okay so I was wrong sue me. Well at least no one's in here.[She runs into a stall and slams the door behind her]

Ian: Geez would you like me to run the water in the sink while you change!![in a sarcastic tone and suddenly gets nailed in the face with Manabu's shoe.] I d...deserve that.

Outside the girls are getting roughed up pretty badly. The attackers seem to take orders from a girl in a different costume than the others. She also seems to not wear a facemask like the others. She is Asuka, head leader of the Ninja Cheerleaders.

Asuka: Okay now girls let's try to wrap this up okay, I have a 10:00 facial that won't wait.

Ninja 1: Sorry ma'am doing the best we can,

Asuka: Yeah whatever.

Suddenly a flurry of white feathers comes in and lands at their feet. They look up and see a girl dressed in a beautiful silver swan outfit.

Swangirl: Listen , I don't have time for this so if you all could just go on about your lives and kindly leaves us alone I would be ever so thankful.

Asuka: Really now?? I have things I would like to be doing other than this also you know?!

Swangirl: [raises an eyebrow] You're mocking me aren't you?!

Asuka: No more than you to me. Girls, kill her!!!

All at once the ninja cheerleaders leap at a very scared Swangirl. Ian who is watching in his human form now has a look of great concern.

Swangirl: Okay so I guess you guys giving up is out of the question huh?!

Swangirl leaps in the air and the ninja's follow her .At the last possible moment she turns in mid air and faces them.

Swangirl: FEATHER BLIZZARD!!!!!!!

The ninja's get caught in a huge storm of silver feather. They are pelted from head to toe and finally land hard on the ground. Swangirl floats down and lands softly.

Asuka:[slaps herself on the forehead]You girl's can forget about shopping at the mall today.[The girl's groan] Looks like I have to handle this myself.

Asuka throws a flurry of blades at her which, she takes out a few of her silver feathers. Asuka then runs at her at full speed. Swangirl punches her but in a puff of smoke her target is replaced with a log. Suddenly she's hit from behind. She looks up and see Asuka standing over her.

Asuka: You just had to go and ruin my plans huh?! Well I guess I can finally take some solace that it's finally over. [gets a sword and swings it toward her] And don't think it hasn't been nice knowing you......cause it hasn't.

Just the Kawaii tackles her knocking her away from Swangirl. She gets up a bit groggy and see what happened.

Asuka: [Knocks Kawaii away] Get off of me you little gnat!!!

Swangirl: Hey you leave Ms. Desu alone!!

Asuka: Oh really Ms. Ugly Duckling, and what are you going to do huh? I'm sick of you and these girls. [Asuka powers up] NINJA MAGIC..................................DRAGON IMPACT!!!!

A huge dragon of pure energy appears and engulfs Swangirl .Her costume catches fire and burns and she smacks had into a wall and has it crumble on her.

Kawaii: Noooooooooo!!!

Asuka: Oh shut up you! [kicks her in the stomach. She calms down and smiles] Much better.

Under the rubble something stirs. The sound of shuffling is heard. Then in an explosion Nekogirl breaks out from under it.

Ian: Whew. I thought for sure you had gone down for good. Hang in there Bu-chan. I only wish I could get involved......but the rules say I'm not allowed. Argh!! I feel so helpless.

Asuka: You changed under that pile of rubble?!

Nekogirl:[try to catch her breath]Um....(gasp) yeah.

Asuka: Sicko!

Nekogirl: What?! Why you!!! FERAL TUMBLE!!!!!

Nekogirl becomes a whirlwind of claws and fangs as she engulf Asuka in her attack Asuka is hit from so many places she is unable to defend or counter Finally Nekogirl hits her in the base of her back and picks her up and hangs her over her head that way.

Nekogirl : How dare you treat my friends so badly!!!![drops her]Now go and if I ever see your face around her I'm going to make kitty litter out of you!

The ninja pick up their leader and walk off with her. Asuka gets to her feet and turns to Nekogirl.

Asuka: I WILL beat this school in the contest....you can bet on that. And there will be nothing YOU can do about it [limps off]

Kawaii: [walks up to Nekogirl] Thanks, we would have been creamed if you hadn't shown up.

Nekogirl: Huh? I should thank you. That was very brave of you Ms. Desu.

Kawaii: Um...you're welcome. Gee I wish Manabu had been here to see me. Wait where is she? Oh no what if they got her on her way to the bathroom! I have to find her![runs off]

Nekogirl: Wait![runs off to]

Kawaii reaches the bathroom and looks under all the stalls. She finds a pair of feet at the last one.

Kawaii: Manabu you okay?

Manabu:[pokes her head out]Yeah I'm just not feeling well that's all. I'm better now though so don't worry I'll be out in a minute.

Kawaii; [smiles] Okay, I thought maybe the ninja's got you.

Manabu: Ninjas? Tell me all about it when I get out. Um..... could you tell the coach that I'm a bit ill and I will be out soon?

Kawaii: Sure. [runs off then stops] Glad to see you're okay. [runs off]

Manabu shuts the door and leans on it. She is still in her costume with her mask under her left arm. She gives a sigh of relief and wipes her forehead.

Manabu: That was TOO close.

Ian: I'll say.

Manabu looks and see Ian, now in his Tanuki form again, standing on the toilet with his arms crossed.

Ian: What happened out there?! You nearly got yourself trashed!!!!

Manabu: Hey, she got a lucky hit in okay!!!

Ian: Well you better hope her luck doesn't spread to others cause at this rate either we'll lose and the beasts get the world back....or ......I'll have to pick out something in black to wear at the human's last hope's funeral.

Manabu: Awww you sound like you almost care. Almost.

Ian: Spare me.

Manabu: Well you are only human.

Ian: Don't insult me. [opens the door and walks] I'm going home.....I'm not feeling too good all of a sudden.

Manabu: [Closes the door] Get some rest then.

Ian: Yeah whatever.[walks out of the girl's bathroom and turns a corner and flops down on the ground] Geez Bu-chan you gave me such a scare today. I.....I thought I'd lost you there for a second.

Kawaii: Ooooo kitty!!!!!!!

Ian: HUH? [looks up and sees Kawaii looking down at him] er....I mean...meow?

Kawaii: Oh such a cute kitty!! [picks him up and strokes his head]

Ian: Mew.

Kawaii: Ooooo so cute!! [hugs him a little too close]

Ian, being held too close to a girl's chest, has a massive nosebleed and passes out. Kawaii gets frightened and tries to revive him.

Kawaii: Kitty!! Kitty!!!!! [giving him CPR]Come back to me kitty!!!!! Please!!!! [shakes him] DON'T GO INTO THE LIGHT!!!!!

Later in Manabu's room Ian, still a Tanuki, wakes up on her bed and with an icepack on his head as well as a couple pieces of tissue um his nose.

Manabu: [standing over him with a grin] Feel better now?

Ian: [pulls the tissues out of his nose] Yeah a bit.

Manabu: Kawaii told me what happened, guess she was a bit too much for you huh? [giggles]

Ian: Very funny. [takes the icepack off and walks of]

Manabu: Where are you going?

Ian: Home. [walks up the steps to the attic]

Manabu: Hey I was only teasing!

In the attic Ian walks over to a small beanbag chair and flops down on it. He let's out a huge sigh. And he starts to remember back to when he and Manabu were young. The scene changes to a young Manabu, about 4 years old at the time. Ian in his Tanuki form is laying down curled up in a ball a few feet away. Manabu is playing in her sandbox and is building a small castle.

Manabu: Hey Ian. I'm building you a house to live in okay?

Ian: [opens one eye]That's nice but I like living in your home better, it's not as .....dusty.

Manabu: Yeah but have you ever lived in a castle before?

Ian: [picks his head up] Well......no.

Manabu:[continues building]Then you'll love my new home for you, but don't worry if it rains I'll let you come inside.

Ian: [puts his head back down] Thanks.

Manabu sings as she continues to build her sandcastle .It crumbles and she pouts and then starts again. Suddenly a huge wolf jumps her fence and rushes at her. Manabu sees him and is frozen in fear. The wolf leaps at her but it knocked away. Manabu opens her eyes and sees Ian standing in front of her.

Ian: You have no right being here, she is under the protection of the Emperor's law until she comes of age. You know that!!

Wolf: [gets to his feet] Regardless she must be dealt with .When the human lose their only salvation then we can take back the earth. Why do you stand against us?!

Ian: I was picked to make sure this girl succeeds..... the emperor chose me so I cannot let him or her down. Now leave!!!

Wolf: No!!

Ian: Suit yourself![turns to Manabu]Run and hide.....NOW!!!!

Manabu stands still and tries to say something but Ian pushes her away. She looks back and then runs behind a picnic table.

Wolf: I WILL get her.....you can't stop me!

Ian: My are all you beasts SO worried about this human that you would break the laws and strike her down at a young age?!

Wolf: I fear NOTHING!!!

Ian: You will soon enough!!

Ian morphs into a silver wolf and tackles him. The two fight and rip and tear at each other for what seems hours. Finally the wolf wounds Ian that throws him against the fence. The wolf then rushes Manabu and misses as she dashes off toward the house.

Ian:[morphs back]BU-CHAN!!!

Ian becomes a beam of pure energy and tears through the wolf like tissue paper. The wolf vanishes into puffed of smoke. Ian falls down to the ground bleeding.

Manabu:[runs over to him}Ian!! Are you hurt?!

Ian: Geez. I thought this job would be easy .Guess I was wrong. What good am I if I can even protect you till you grow up and have a fighting chance?! I messed up big time. When I'm gone who will protect you?

Manabu: NO!! No Ian you won't go!![she runs in the house and comes back. She wraps Ian up in a towel and carries him with great effort to the house.]

A few days go by and Manabu watches over him. She sneaks food to him and patches him up best he can. Finally, she gets his strength back. Manabu carries something into her room as Ian is looking out the window.

Manabu: [put down a wrapped thing and wipes her forehead] Whew! Next time I'm going to make something lighter in Arts & Crafts. Hey Ian......come here and look at what I made!

Ian limps over and sees the object. She undoes the wrapping and it is a small house made of Popsicle sticks cardboard, and paper. It is very pretty.

Ian: Wow that's quite a doll house you made!

Manabu: [giggles] It's not a doll house, it's a IAN house.

Ian: What?!

Manabu: Well you got hurt saving me and I never got to finish building you that house so I made you this one in school all the time you were getting better. Do you like it?

Ian: [eyes light up]Yes I do. [gets inside and looks around] It's the nicest thing anyone's ever giving me. But......................

Manabu :But?

Ian: Where am I going to go potty? [makes a silly face]

Manabu: Oh you silly!![laughs and gets in herself]We need furniture and a kitchen so I can make you meals.

Ian: Why would you do that?

Manabu: Well that's what wives do silly .I'm going to marry you and be happy.

Ian: [sweating and speechless] Um...........a human may be better for you.

Manabu: Don't be silly. [hugs him] You'll see one day I'll make you a good wife like the one's on TV. Oh it's dusty in here better get my broom.

Manabu runs off as Ian peers out the window at her .He sighs and walks back in to check out the rest of the house .The scene fades back to a shot of the house up in the attic. Ian walks in but has a bit of trouble squeezing through the door. Inside is a broom and a dust pan.......and on the wall is a picture of young Ian and Manabu. Manabu has a veil and little flowers in her hand. Ian has a bowtie and at the bottom written in crayon are the words..."Just Married". Ian sighs and gets the broom and dustpan and begins sweeping.

Manabu: OUT OF THE WAY!!!! I'M LATE!!!

The scene opens with Manabu running at full speed to school. Rei, her younger sister is hanging on to her for dear life.

Rei: Could you slow down a bit...........I think we just broke the sound barrier!!!

Manabu: Hey I'm running late!!

Rei: So?

Manabu: So.......................If "I'm" running late then....................

Rei: Then I'm late too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! RAMMING SPEED SIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Manabu: Thought you'd see things my way.

She picks up speed and rushes down the sidewalk. Half way down the street she sees a construction site.

Manabu: I'm taking a shortcut sis, hold on!!!!

She runs right through the site. She dodges trucks and bulldozers and sees a pipe coming up in front of them Manabu throws Rei high in the air and runs through the pipe. As she exits she catches Rei on her way back down. She leaps over the fence and continues on her way. There are a group girls talking as they walk into the campus. Suddenly they are caught in a huge cloud of dust. When it passes Rei appears in front of them.

Manabu:[Somewhere inside the dust cloud]Gave a good day at school!!

Rei:[looking like a tornado hit her]Yeah I'll try.[walks into the campus as the girls stare at her]

Manabu hits the brakes as she arrives at her school. Her feet dig deep into the ground as she stops.

Manabu:[fixes her hair and skirt]Whew! Made it with a minute to spare. That has to be some record!!

Manabu walks toward the school and sees a group of girl talking. Among them are Kekko and Kawaii. She walks over t them. As she gets the Kawaii sees her and runs up to her crying.

Kawaii: OH, Manabu is horrible!!!!

Manabu: What is it!!! Who got hurt, who died, who broke up?!?!?!?!?!?

Kekko: Oh don't mind her she upset cause our cheerleader team will have to drop out.

Kawaii:[gets in her face]If there's no cheerleader team you can't wear your uniform and attract cute boys!!!!

Kekko: What?![breaks down and cries on Manabu]OH, Manabu is horrible!!!!

Manabu: Can you guys explain to me just what's going on?

Kawaii:[wipes her tears away]Well our cheerleader team was suppose to enter the finals of the City's Cheerleader Contest, but because of those darn Ninja Cheerleaders all our teammates have been scared off. And now........(sniff) and now........and now...

Kekko:[still bawling]I can't meet a cute guy!!!

Kawaii:[bops her on her head]WE won't be able to enter now!!! WAAAAAAHHHH!!!

Manabu: Well geez, I wish I could help.

Kekko & Kawaii: YOU CAN!!!!

Manabu:[sweating and backing off]Um.....hey I didn't mean...

Kekko: Yeah all we need only one more person...

Kawaii: Yeah and you'd be perfect!!

Manabu: No I'm not doing it, I don't feel comfortable in those skimpy uniforms and it's MY choice so forget!!![Manabu walk on screen and is wear a cheerleader uniform]Yeah that's what I should have said. I really need to stop being so nice.

Ian: That's what I always say.

Manabu: Hey Ian.[in a not-so-happy-tone]

Manabu:[turning red]Not a word Ian........not a word!!!!!

Ian:[Still looking up]Hey look at that cloud up there...it looks like a bunny.

Manabu:[tugs her cheerleader skirt down a bit]I feel so on display.

Ian:[looks at her and tries not to look down]Just what happened?

Manabu Sigh. Walk with me to my locker so I can get my uniform and I'll tell you on the way.

Ian: Oh yeah, that's an improvement![rolls his eyes]

Manabu steps out of the girl's bathroom now in her school uniform. Ian is leaning against a wall .She grabs him by his arm and walks out with him. They walk to Rei's school when the are met by a girl with short hair, she is Rei's friend Ginger.

Ginger: Hey Manabu, your sis left and said she was going off alone.[notices Ian]Ah this must be why?

Manabu: What?

Ginger:[winks at Ian]She said she was going home so you can be alone with your beau.

Manabu:[turns red]It's not like that at all!!!!!!!!!!

Ginger: Oh okay![takes Ian's arm]Can I have him then?

Manabu: Ginger!!!!!!!

Ginger looks up at him. He looks back at her and smiles. She slowly removes her arm from his.

Ian: I'm flattered, but maybe you should stick with guys your age.

Ginger: Why?! They never even look at me.

Ian;[kisses her on the forehead]Then it's their loss.[takes Manabu by the arm and walks off with her]Bye.

Ginger:[unable to move]..............................................[turns bright red]

Manabu:[looks back at Ginger]How DO you do that?

Ian: Being sweet comes naturally to some of us. Anyway are you still bummed about being talked into being a flasher.

Manabu: That's cheerleader.

Ian: Not in that short skirt.

Manabu :Funny. So where are you taking me?

Ian: The big guy wants to see you.

Manabu: Hmmm?[eyes pop out of her head]HIM!!!!!!!!!!![stops]

Ian: Um...yeah.. come on now.

Manabu:[shaking like a leaf] I can't.........he....he.. he scares me!

Ian: Come on he's not going to eat you. Besides I'll be right there with you[takes her hand]

Manabu:[blushes]Okay...let's go.

The scene changes to a palace somewhere It is over run with vegetation. an arrives in his Tanuki form. Manabu comes running in dressed in royal robes. They both kneel as in a flash of fire the Great Dragon appears. Before then is a huge dragon, standing at least 15 feet tall with great powerful wings. His silver scales shine like metal.

Manabu: Um........[sweating] you sent for me?...sir?

Great Dragon: Yes. Rise Manabu.[she does still shaking. Ian hops on her shoulder and pats her on the back with his tail. She smiles at him and takes a deep breath]I called you here because it's time for you progress report.[a small thought balloon forms over Manabu's head and shows a small version of her bursting into tears]

Ian: Um....[hops off of her]Well she's been doing a very good job sire. She has had some shaky times but for a person who's been at it for as short a time as her she done very well.[The Small Manabu in her thought bubble is running around crying]

Great Dragon: Yes. Our sources have confirmed what you have said. Very good Ian.........and well done Manabu.[Both Manabu's sigh in relief]You've done very well...both of you. I must tell you the road ahead will not be easy.

Ian: Have faith, there is nothing she can't handle.

Manabu: Ian?

Ian: I stand behind her 100%

Juda: Really now?

They turn to see Juda walking in .Juda is Ian's half sister and a full blooded Tanuki. She also favors the beats in this power struggle. She looks human and is dressed in royal robes and armor. Her hair is blue, gold, and pink and comes down to the back of her knees.

Ian: What now?

Juda: Well since you favor her SO much....... would you give up your freedom?

Ian: Oh you mean the part that lets me go where I please and allows me to leave this world and not have to serve anyone else like the other Tanuki's.

Juda: Yes that's the one?

Ian: You want me ever so much to fail but you want nothing more than to see me stuck here with you!! You hate the fact that 1. I got picked over you for this job; 2. I got to leave this world and not you; and 3. That I'm just a...how do YOU put it......a MUTT and I got favored over you regardless of this knowledge.

Juda: Why you.......do not forget your place!!

Ian: Yup outside with you inside!! But I will make that gamble.

Juda: Really now?[smiles and evil grin]

Manabu: Hey![grabs him]Are you out of your mind?!

Juda: That goes without saying but it's closed. You heard him yourself sire, if she fails her next progress report he stays here and can no longer leave!

Great Dragon: Very well.

Manabu: But........wait! You can't do that!!!

Ian: It's done!

The two leave. Ian walks ahead as Manabu trails behind. She catches up and stops him.

Manabu: Why did you do that?!

Ian: Cause I have faith in you......well not much but some at least.

Manabu: You know very well I've been lucky these past few times!! If I mess up I don't want you being dragged down with me...no it's worse than that........you'll lose everything if I fail!!!

Ian:[now human put his hands on her shoulders]Don't worry I won't lose anything. I have every confidence in you.

Manabu: But..... you'll...[tears forming in her eyes]

Ian: Forget it for now.[holds her]It just means you'll have to try harder from no on.

Manabu:[turns very red} I have to go!!!! [looks around]Um where's the ladies room?

Ian: Hon there are no human's here, what makes you think there's a ladies room?

Manabu: Gah!! There has to be!!!!

Ian: Heh heh...down that way 7 doors to your left. Just make sure you lock the door...both genders use that one.

Manabu:{runs off]Thanks!

Behind Ian, a dark shadow appears. It moves closer and when it comes into the light we see it is the Great Dragon.

Great Dragon: You put yourself on the line so she would settle down and try harder, very wise...as well as costly.

Ian: She can do it, she just needs to see that for herself. Besides I saw no other way.

Great Dragon: And you would put your very life in her hands.

Ian: Yes.

Great Dragon:[leaving]She is very lucky to have you......................I just hope she sees how you really feel for her soon.

Ian: As do I.

The scene opens up off the coast. A fishing net as gotten loose from a fishing boat and has caught several dolphins. Dolphingirl is there cutting them free as best she can. Ian , in his Tanuki form is keeping other dolphins from getting caught in the net. After much work Dolphingirl finally frees them all. The dolphin leap in the air and swim off. Dolphingirl waves to them then picks up Ian and takes off like a torpedo to the shore. At the women's building Dolphingirl looks around and find the dressing room empty. She gives off a sigh of relief and sets her bag down. Ian tumbles out of it. Dolphingirl walks into one of the shower stalls and pulls the curtain closed. After a while her costume flies over the curtain and hits Ian, knocking him down.

Ian: Hey!!! I'm already soaked as it is geez.

Manabu:[pokes her head out] Sorry.[pokes her head back in]I need a hot shower after that, that water was freezing!!!

Ian:[spins around supper fast and get dry]Man cleaning up after you is not in my job description![takes her costume and wrings it out. He folds it up nicely and tucks it away in her backpack.]Geez don't use so much how water!! You're turning this dressing room into a sauna!![waves away some of the steaming coming at him]

Manabu:[turns the shower off] Complain complain! Give me my bag will you?[Ian throws it at her]Hey nice pitch! Keep an eye out will you?

Ian:[crosses his arms]Sure and what am I suppose to do, tell people um there's nothing to look at in that stall over there. But in a way I'd be telling the truth![Manabu's shoe bonks him on the head]OW!!!

Manabu:[comes out in her sundress] Ah there's my shoe.[picks it up and puts it on]Okay that's everything? Nope forgot the excess baggage.[picks up a semi-conscious Ian and stuffs him in her bag]Let's go.

Later at Kawaii's house, Kawaii is sewing up her skirt when there's a knock at the door. She sets her sewing stuff to one side and goes to answer the door.

Kawaii: Who is it?

Manabu:[from behind the door]Land shark!

Kawaii: Um....[sweating]No one's home!

Manabu; It's me Kawaii!!

Kawaii: Nice try land shark but I'm Kawaii!

Manabu: No...(sigh) it's me Manabu!!

Kawaii: Prove it!!

Ian:[human form mind you]Remember that time in grade school during the play when you fell off stage and you skirt ended up over you head?! OW!! Bu-chan what was that for!!

Kawaii:[blushing]Sigh. Yup that's them alright.[opens the door]

Manabu:[Walks as does Ian who is rubbing his head]You just had to remind her didn't you?

Ian: Well that's the only way she'd believe it was us!!!

Kawaii: What brings you two here?

Manabu: Well I kinda lost the book with the cheers in them and I was wondering...

Kawaii:{reaches in to her pocket and pulls out some folded notes]Kekko and I thought this would happen.[Hands them to her]Anything else?

Manabu: No not really. Thanks.

Kawaii: You're welcome. Oh Manabu I can't thank you enough for helping us win the contest.

Manabu: We haven't won yet?

Ian: Yeah you can thank her after you guys win.[winks]

Kawaii: I wish I had you're confidence.

Ian: Really, me too.[both girls look at him] Um forget it.

Manabu: ANYway, we better get going I have to start practicing.

Ian: Not that she'll need it mind you.

Manabu: Do you ever stop.

Ian: Um...I think I will right now.

Manabu: Bye.

Kawaii:[Closes the door behind them]Those two! Lucky for Manabu me and Kekko made 87 copies of the cheers. We knew our Manabu's copies would met an untimely fate .Hee heh.
