Miguel walks into his office looking down, he looks over at Sabrina's desk. He knows today is her last day. She'll only show up to pick up her stuff and then she's gone. He notices a box with her stuff packed up already. He sits at his desk and trembles, filled with feelings of anger and pain. He wants so badly for this to be a dream. He wants her to stay……. stay forever. Meanwhile, on the other side of the building…..

Ebony: Must you go Sabrina?

Sabrina:[smiles and puts her hand on her shoulder] I'm afraid so Ebony, Blake doesn't want me anywhere near Miguel. Sigh. Can't say I blame him.

Ebony: We.. didn't have enough time. You were the only normal person here.

Sabrina:[smiles] We can still hang out sometime, [winks} I promise. Where's Reiko?

Groovy: She didn't want to be here. She feels really[tears welling up in her eyes] OH SABRINA DON'T GO!!! [latches on to her] I'm sorry for all the times I popped up unexpectedly, I promise I won't do it again!!

Sabrina:[winces] Groovy, that's not why I'm leaving!!! And please let up on your grip.. it's hard…. for me to breath!! [Groovy let's go] Whew. Thanks.

Funky:[looks away from Sabrina] Well go then.. see if we miss you or anything!!

Sabrina; Aw come on Delia..[Funky glares at her] um.. [sweating] FUNKY.. don't be that way.

Funky: I don't care if you leave… but think about how Miguel will feel.

Sabrina: I have. He doesn't seem to mind so much[looks away]

Azul:[walks in and the others look at her]WHAT?!?![walks over to Sabrina] I wish you wouldn't go. I was starting to like you.

Sabrina:[raises an eyebrow] Even when you soaked me with the fire hose?

Azul: It was Funky's idea!![looks at her]

Sabrina:[looks over at Funky] FUNKY!!!???

Funky:[crosses her arms] Well after today I don't feel sorry about doing it!!

Sabrina:[walks over to her] Funky, are you going to be this way until I leave?

Funky:[looks at her] No.. I..[looks down] plan to be this way long after you leave.

Sabrina: [smiles] Hey.. I might go see you perform again someday.

Funky: I dunno. [looks at her]

Sabrina: Sigh. And I'll get up on stage and perform again with you.

Funky: [smiles] In that case….. forget it!! What do you wanna do, ruin me?!

Sabrina: Hooboy. Remember, you talked me into it last time.

Funky:[smiles] Yeah I know.[hugs Sabrina] You take care.. [winks] I won't be there to watch your back anymore.

Sabrina: Like when you told everyone to play pranks on me?

Funky: Yeah.. just like that!!

The scene changes back Miguel siting in his office. He stares at the screensaver on his computer. He sighs and turns around, there he sees Sabrina standing at the doorway. He looks back at his computer. Sabrina walks in and stands behind him, playing with her hair. She then hugs him and rests her head on his. Miguel's expression becomes one of pain. He quivers, but stops so Sabrina won't notice. She sighs and he feels her breath on him. He wants so badly to hug her back.

Sabrina: Well boss, I best get what's left of my stuff together.[walks to her desk]

Miguel watches her walk away. He reaches out for her.. but stops himself. She finishes packing up and takes Tigerhawk off of her computer and puts him in the box. She sighs and leans on her desk. She turns and looks at him. Miguel tries to contain himself.

Sabrina; Well..[looks down] I guess that's it.

Miguel: Yeah.. I guess so.

Sabrina: Well.. thanks for giving me a break.. and keep me from having to move back in with my parents.

Miguel:[looks at her] Thanks for fixing my site.. and.. and for brightening up this place.

Sabrina:[walks over to him] I didn't do that.

Miguel: [nods] Yes you did. [looks up at the ceiling] Among other things.

Sabrina: How so?[plays with her hair]

Miguel: [looks down] You brought me closer to my little brother Matt…. [looks at her and scratches the back of his head] and.. you made me do something I hadn't done in a long time…you made me feel happy.

Sabrina is taken back a bit by what he has just said. But then she sees something rather odd, something she has seen only a few times, but this time.. it looked like the first time… Miguel smiles. She tries her best not to cry as she goes over and hugs him again. This time.. to her surprise… Miguel hugs back. She feels his arm hold her tightly, and she finds herself.. not wanting to pull away. After a while.. they both do, and try their best to contain themselves.

Sabrina: I better go..[picks up her box] Um.. bye Miguel.[walks off]

Miguel tries to say something but cannot, Sabrina walks out and his chest feel heavy. He grabs his chest and breathes hard like he's unable to breathe. Then Sabrina walks back in.

Sabrina: Um.. I forgot my backpack.[Miguel straightens up as she grabs her backpack] Sorry.. um..[puts it on] I'll be going now. Bye.[turns to leave when..]

Miguel: Don't go.

Sabrina stops in her tracks. She is unable to move.. mostly cause she is unsure if she heard him right. She turns and looks at him. Miguel looks down.. his hands balled up in fists and shaking.

Sabrina: Ex.. excuse me?

Miguel:[swallows hard] Don't go… Ms. Sabrina. [shakes his head] I….[Sabrina sees tears fall from his face as he looks up at her] I…. love you.

Sabrina is VERY taken back by what she has just heard. She is unable to say anything. She plays with her hair.

Sabrina: W.. what?

Miguel: Ms. Sabrina.. I love you. I can't let you leave like this. I need you… in my life. I can't imagine my life without you. You've.. you've changed me so much.. for the better.

Sabrina: [shocked] Um.. Miguel I..

Miguel: Ms. Sabrina.. I need you.. in my life. Before you came I had no reason to leave this place.. to leave these four walls I built to keep the outside world out and me safe inside. I had no reason to dream.. no reason to hope.. no reason to have faith. When you came into my life.. all that changed. I can't explain it… but.. for the first time.. I looked forward to another day.. coming here to work… putting up with my daily routine. Suddenly, I can't do anything without you popping into my mind, I think about you all the time. All I can think of is how can I can I make you stay.. how can I make you a part of my life.. how.. can I keep her from finding out just how much of a major part you plays in my life? Then I go crazy because I want you to know.. I want you to know how I feel.. how when at night, as I sit at my computer.. I wonder what you're doing.. or what you're dreaming of? I wonder is she resting peacefully… or is she sitting up.. thinking about me?

Sabrina: [looking down] Miguel…..

Miguel: You mean so much to me. I have never met a girl like you.. so perfect.. in many ways. So much like me. We like the same things.. well with the exception of Amiga.. but I can learn to love it. You don't think I'm just a weirdo.. you understand how I feel.. you actually listen to me when I talk.[Sabrina trembles] You're so sweet and nice to me… even when I'm mean to you. I actually enjoy fighting with you.. I actually have a worthy advisory to fight with in you. I love how you sometimes stop what your doing and look over at me.. and ask me what's wrong. How you fuss over me.. when I'm hurt or sick. How you make me do things for my own good.

Sabrina: [quivers] M..Miguel….

Miguel: Sabrina.. I have never felt the way I feel around you with anyone before. I feel.. I feel stronger.. I feel alive.. I feel capable of anything. All my insecurities fade.. my fears vanish.. I'm a better man because of you. Now.. now that you're leaving.. I can be that man. I'm lost.. I have no will to go on.. I have no desire to strive .. no will to do what I must … I'm incomplete. I..I've been afraid to tell you these things because.. I was.. I was.. I was afraid you'd reject me.. and leave…just like you are now. Ms. Sabrina… I..

Sabrina:[head lowered, trembling] Shut up.

Miguel: Ms.. Ms. Sabr..

Sabrina:[raises her head showing her eyes filled with tears] SHUT UP!!!! SHUT UP SHUT UP SHUT UP!!!! You jerk!!!! Why are you telling me all of this…NOW?!??!?! [Miguel steps back as he sees her eyes filled with rage and hurt] You now.. tell me all of this.. all of this.. that you kept inside.. all that I wanted to hear for so long!! You stupid idiot.. I loved you!! I always had!! I wanted you to tell me this.. earlier!!!! But you ruined everything!!!! What am I suppose to do, huh?! Jump into your arms and we walk off into the sunset together!!!?? Is that what you think?!??! I can't you jerk, cause you didn't tell me this when I gave you a chance two nights ago!!! I went to your place.. against my better judgement and wait for you to tell me all of this!! BUT YOU DIDN'T!!!! You hurt me so badly!!! I can't believe you did that!!!! And now, you tell me all of this now!!!!! I can't do anything you stupid jerk.. cause I made a promise to Blake!!! I can't go with you and have a happy ending!! It doesn't work out that way!!! I can't believe you!! I showed you in so many ways I loved you!! Even when I wasn't sure!!! But you didn't return any of it!!! All you had to do was tell me!!! And…..[breaks down crying]

Miguel:[walks over] Ms. Sabrina?

Sabrina:[punches him across the face] GET AWAY!!! You had your chance.. and you blew it!!! I HATE YOU!!!!!! [runs out of the building]

Miguel stands silent holding his face as he hears the door slam. He stands there trembling as tears run down his face. After a while he moves to his desk and sits at the computer. He stares at it for a while and puts his head down and cries. Finally, he picks his head up and looks at his computer. He then looks over at her desk, and sighs. He turns off his computer and gets up. He walks out and turns the lights off in the office.

Miguel: [shuts the door as everything goes black] Never again.

Astral: [sitting at a table looking at her tarot cards crying] I knew this was going to happen. I just knew it. I could have helped out.. I could have…….. [Astral looks down and sees the card of the Moon] Shoot!!! I never gave it to him did I? sigh. Well too late now I suppose. [throws all the cards off the table and onto the floor] I hope she listened to everything I told her at the beginning. Aw who cares.. it's too late now. [gets up and walks off turning out the light] There is no destiny as far as love goes. If there is… then…. Maybe… just maybe…….
