A bit of time has past as Miguel wanders the halls of the eMenagerie building, his feet tapping against the ground echo in through out the building. In a few minutes he knows that Sabrina will be coming in for work. He sighs as he gets to his office, sits down at his desk and opens the drawer and pulls out her picture. He touches her face and stares at it lovingly for a moment..that is until…

Funky: Boss.. you gotta tell her.

Miguel: I know.. but I'm afraid.

Funky: Of what?! Just tell her.. you'll feel so much better.

Miguel: I'm.. [trembles].. I'm afraid if she finds out how I feel about her.. she'll…[looks down] she'll leave me.

Funky: Oh come on.. she likes you.. why would she leave? Name one girl who would do that?

Miguel; Ede… Liz… Terry…Yu… Jamie…Jennifer..Marcie…

Funky: I said one!! [crosses her arms] Listen.. she's different than those girls.. you know that.

Miguel:[tears well in his eyes] I CAN'T!!! [gets up and gets in her face] Don't you think I want to tell her?! Don't you think I want this all to end?! Don't you think I want to open the flood gates and let all my true feelings come out.. put my heart on the table and leave nothing to hide?! [lowers his head and begins crying] But I can't… my fear of her leaving me is so strong. I mean I know it bad being close to her and saying nothing..[shakes his head] but.. at least she's here.. close to me. I can't complain with that.

Funky: [hugs him] Miguel.. you can't let your feelings hold you back.. you have to tell her. If you don't.. you may lose her forever.

Miguel: [trembling] I can't…I just can't….. I'd die if she rejected me. I can't take it anymore.. falling for someone.. getting close to them.. then losing them cause I tell them the truth. It gets harder every time Delia, I can't .. I can't go through it again.

Funky: Miguel.[holds him tight. Then her ears perk up as she hears someone coming] She's here, go pull yourself together.. I'll stall her. [Miguel leaves and she runs down the hall to meet her] Hey there Sabrina gal!

Sabrina:[yawns] Oh hey ..morning Funky. Sorry.. I had a big night last night.

Funky: Oh really? [crosses her arms] With you may I ask oh Queen of the Night?

Sabrina: Well…..[walks into the office] You saw him that night at the club. [sits down and turns on her computer] His name is Blake.

Funky: Oh.. the player?! Man.. if you're so hard up for a guy.. I could have fixed you up you know?

Sabrina: [eyes narrow as she looks at her] He's not so bad.. [looks at her computer] once you get to know him.

Funky: Yes well last I checked.. Hitler had a few perks too.[leans against her desk and crosses her arms]

Sabrina: Hey! What's with you anyway.. weren't you the one who told me I need to loosen up and find a guy?

Funky: Yeah.. but I didn't mean for you to take leave of your senses!!

Meanwhile, Miguel is making his way down the hall towards the office. He is thinking about what Funky has told him.

Miguel: Funky is right, I should just come out and tell her how I feel. I mean what's the worst that could happen.. [shoulders droop] besides her saying no and my being hurled into the deepest depths of hell. [straightens up] Well I guess.. I should be strong.

Sabrina: He's really a sweet guy.. and he is a rather sharp dresser to boot.

Funky: Oh yes Tommy Hillfinger, didn't the president of that company openly admit he's a racist by saying he made those clothes for white people.. and he didn't like Hispanics and Blacks wearing them?

Sabrina: I seem to recall that.. well something about it anyway.. but listen.. you can't judge a guy by what the maker of his clothes does.

Funky:[raises an eyebrow] No, but it's okay to blow a guy off cause he likes iMacs.

Sabrina: YES!![crosses her arms] I mean no.. I'm not that fickle..I mean I'm not fickle at all!! Who are we talking about anyway?

Funky: Not anyone you'd notice I see. [turns her back to her]

Sabrina: HEY!! What's gotten into you?

Funky: Nothing.. [walks off] nothing at all.

Sabrina: Geez, you think I'd have insulted her or something.

Funky walks into the hall and sees Miguel leaning against the wall trembling. She takes him by the arm and they both go into a nearby closet.

Funky: You heard the whole thing didn't you?

Miguel:[looking down with his clenching his fists]Yes.

Funky: [places her arms on his shoulders] It's okay.. I know the guy she's seeing.. I could tell first off he's all wrong for her.. you still have a chance.

Miguel: No. It's over. I lost her.[turns away]

Funky: Miguel! You can't give up just like that.. you gotta fight this.. show her you care.. you have to..

Miguel:[turns around and snaps at her] I don't have to do anything!!! [Funky back off] What I have to do is stop listening to you!!!

Down the long narrow hall, the door that is boarded up begins to pound.. it starts as a soft knocking then it grows louder…. as if something behind it was trying to break free. Sabrina hears it and looks up from her work. Funky hears it and pushes Miguel against the wall.

Funky: You have to calm down Miguel!!!

Miguel: I'm tired of being calm!!! [pushes her back] All I do is let things happen to me.. and I never say anything!!![one of the boards that seals the door flies off] I just can't stand it.. sometimes I feel like I'm just on this earth as a big joke!!!! [the door begins to buckle as the rest of the boards begin to fall off] IT'S NOT FAIR!!!!

Funky:[slaps him hard] SHUT UP!!! [Miguel grabs his face] I'm tired of you going around everyday like life's just out to get you!!! You act like everyone is just here to hurt you!![tears for in her eyes] You can't even see that we care about you and we're trying to help you!![shakes her head] You selfish bastard!!!!

Miguel: I'm….I'm sorry Delia.[shoulders droop] I..I lost it. I'm sorry. I just…I just can't stand it.

Funky: You think I like this happening to you? [wipes her eyes] You made me cry!! You know I hate that!!! [punches him in the chest]

Miguel: [grabs his chest] Sorry.

Funky: And you almost let him out.. you know that!

Miguel: Yeah…[walks past her and leaves] I just didn't care.

Later Sabrina is exiting the bathroom when she sees Miguel boarding up the door again. She stops and stares a bit, then shakes her head as she goes back to the office. Miguel, done with his task stares at the door.

Voice:[from behind the door] Next time.

Miguel: I'm afraid you might be right.[walks off]

Sabrina:[walks to her desk and sees Groovy looking through all the markers] What are you doing?

Groovy:[continues digging and doesn't look up from her task] Looking for my shade.

Sabrina: I see.[sits in her chair] Groovy.. what is behind that door that Miguel is boarding up?

Groovy:[pulls out a marker] I didn't answer you before.. so what makes you think I'm going to this time? And it's not all his rage, anger, despair, and penned up negative emotions or anything. [starts coloring a few strands of fur on her arm]

Sabrina: Um..[looks at her] What are you doing?

Groovy: [continues and looks up at her] Gray hair.

Sabrina:[shakes her head and goes to work at her computer] I see.

Just then Miguel walks in. Groovy sees him and puts the marker back and quickly rushes out. Miguel goes and sits at his desk.

Sabrina: And where were you all morning?

Miguel: Nothing.

Sabrina: Um.. not much of an answer actually.

Miguel: Uh huh.

Sabrina:[plays with her hair and stares at him] Miguel.. it's hot in here.. mind if I take off my shirt?

Miguel:[doesn't even look at her] Sure thing.

Sabrina:[continues to stare] Miguel.. I'm completely naked.

Miguel: Good for you.

Sabrina: [picks up the Catbert stuffed toy from her desk and hurls it at him hitting him in the head] Don't give me that male.. "tune out the female..and just reply at the end of every sentence" shtick!

Miguel:[looks at her] Okay fine.. what do you want?

Sabrina; What's wrong?

Miguel: [turns back to his computer] I don't pay you to hear my problems.

Sabrina: Fine.. be that way![crosses her arms and faces her computer] We'll just act like a normal boss and employee.

Sabrina goes back to work and sees something on her computer. It's Tigerhawk, a Beast Wars toy Miguel gave her for décor and as a gift. She recalls how she got it.

Sabrina: Too bad Miguel.. I kinda liked our relationship.

Miguel: We don't have a relationship.. we aren't even dating.[grinds his teeth when he says that]

Sabrina: That's not what I meant. Do you remember a while back.. I got you something.. just to be nice?

Miguel: [looks at Tigertron on his desk] No.. I don't recall that at all.

Sabrina: [hits her monitor with her head] Yes you do. Sigh. [glares at him] Okay then.. let me refresh your memory.

The scene flashes back to a while back. Sabrina comes in early and doesn't find Miguel in the office. She goes to work and sighs. A while passes and Miguel finally comes in with a black dwarf bunny in his arms. He puts it on the floor and then sits at his desk.

Miguel: Be a good girl Ebony, and Funky will be along shortly to take you back.[Ebony looks around and sniffs stuff]

Sabrina: What is that?[looks down at the tiny black bunny nibbling at her foot]

Miguel:[looks at Ebony] Oh sorry.[goes and picks her up] This is my baby Ebony. She won't be a bother I promise. We stayed here last night and well I haven't had time to take her home yet. Funky is going to take her.. ah there we go.

Funky:[walks in] Okay where's the little gal? [takes her] Okay.. come on girlfriend.. we'll do a bit of clubbing before we go home. {walks off with her]

Miguel: You better not.. she hates smoky places.. you know that!!

Sabrina: You have a pet bunny? That's.. that's cute.[smiles at him]

Miguel: Yeah well she's visiting me.. she belongs to Matt now.. he has a bunny named Nibbler and well I couldn't stand to keep a happy couple a part. But I get her on weekends. [sits back in his chair]

Sabrina: Heh. I figured you.. a non-pet person. Oh that reminds me.[digs in her back pack] Ah here we go?

Miguel: It's not Silverbolt again is it?

Sabrina:[frowns] NO!! I'm never bring him again.. not after you tried to tackle it going "Let's see what makes you tick!!"

Miguel:[sweating] Sorry… Tarantulas made me do it.. really.

Sabrina; Yes.. for a guy who likes the old school.. you seem own a few of the new ones as well. So I got you this.[gives him something]

Miguel: [looks at it] Tigertron? Um.. okay. I only collect …

Sabrina: I know I know.. you only collect Decepticons.. but why pray tell do you own a number of Megatrons and Tarantulas?

Miguel: Um.. cause.. they're cool.

Sabrina: Besides.. you like Rattrap. Anyway I got him.. well he reminds me of you.

Miguel: Yeah.. I'm green and white.. I get that a lot.[rolls his eyes]

Sabrina: NO!! Just well you're both tigers.. and I wanted to do something nice.

Miguel: But him? Geez.. I mean he's like a European, feline version of the Autobot Beachcomber, he's too wrapped up with nature to fight. Granted yeah they were suppose to be science officers with them.. but they have no place in a war.

Sabrina: FINE!!! [reaches for the toy] You don't have to keep it!!!

Miguel: Um.. no.. that's that's okay.. I'll hold on to it anyway.

Sabrina: [glares at him] I'm going to go freshen up.[walks off]

Miguel: If you'd lay off the coffee, you wouldn't make so many trips.

Sabrina; [looks back at him] Don't vex me.[leaves]

Miguel: Okay.. if anything comes up.. I'll forward any messages or mail to the bathroom.

Sabrina:[pops her head in] Just drop it!!!

Sabrina walks down the hall to the office. As she enters the office Miguel stands in front of her. She eyes him as he gives her a box.

Sabrina:[looks at it] Tigerhawk?

Miguel: Um..[rubs the back of his neck] yeah. Just returning the favor. I had got it for Matt.. but um.. the idea that Tigerhawk was a boy AND a girl kinda blew his mind so he gave it back. Kinda held on to it for a while.

Sabrina: [raises an eyebrow] Why?

Miguel: Stupid reason. [sees looks at him] Well.. it represents.. aw shoot.. [shoulders droop] it's dumb. Sigh. Tigerhawk… is a symbol of a perfect relationship. It's two minds.. two hearts.. two souls that have become one. Something.. I guess.. no one can ever truly have.. or understand.

Sabrina;[smiles and looks at him] That's sweet..[sweating] in a rather odd and disturbing way.. but sweet none the less.[kisses him on the cheek] Thank you.

Sabrina opens it and takes the toy out as Miguel teeters back and forth with a blank expression on his face as the flashback ends.

Sabrina: You acted like[looks over at him smiling] a girl had never kissed you before.

Miguel:[staring at his monitor] Not by a pretty one anyway. Such is my fate I guess.

Sabrina;[looks over at him playing with her hair] You talk like a condemned man. It kinda makes me feel bad for you.

Miguel: I don't want your sympathy.

Sabrina;[looks down at her keyboard] I like the way we get along.

Miguel: You mean the way we always fight?

Sabrina: No. We..[looks over at him] we don't act like boss and employee. I mean…. I don't know of anyone who comes to work and doesn't avoid their boss, let alone feels comfortable to where they can just hang with their boss and play around with them.

Miguel: I'm not out to impress anyone.. why must I act like the others. They can go to hell if you ask me. I refuse to do something just to fit in.. besides I know I can get more out of an employee if they feel free and comfy that one who feels they must be well behaved and on a leash.

Sabrina: I..[plays with her hair again] appreciate that. But.. why are you acting so distant now?

Miguel: I always am… I don't fit in with you or anyone.. I have to remind myself of that.. I have my place.. and you have yours.

Sabrina: I never meant to make you feel that way.. if I did..

Miguel: You didn't.

Sabrina; Miguel.. are you ever going to look at me at all today?[looks at him looking at the monitor]

Miguel:[tears forming in his eyes] We'll see. We'll see.

Elsewhere, the girls of eMenagerie are gathered in the bathroom. There Funky, Groovy, Azul the manta girl, AJ the ninja catgirl converse.

Funky: Okay girl.. I bring call this meeting for a reason.

There's a flush and a black bunny girl exits one of the stalls. She has small glasses perched on her nose and her hair tied back in a ponytail. He is wearing a baggy long sleeve T-shirt and jeans. She blushes and goes to wash her hands. Her name is Ebony.. she is the resident inker.

SD Miguel:[in a small panel] Um yeah.. her name is Ebony too.. just like my little bunny.. and similarity between the two is.. um.. aw shoot you got me.[shoulders droop as the panel vanishes]

Funky: [glares at her] So good of you to join us Ebony.

Ebony:[dries her hands] I told you I'd had to go.. [blushes] and that I'd be out in a minute.

Azul: 5 minutes and 38 seconds to be exact.

Ebony looks at Azul. She is a blue-gray manta ray girl dressed in a skin tight wetsuit cut at mid-thigh and also at her elbows, with a fin hanging over her face like bangs. She is the resident colorist of eMenagerie.

SD Miguel: [pops up in a panel again] Sigh.. yeah.. she does the coloring.. or is suppose to.. but she hangs out at the pool so much.. I'm left doing the job myself.[shoulders droop as the panel fades again]

Ebony: There was no need to time me. Now what is that all about?

Funky: Sabrina.

Azul: Ah yes.. the rookie.. the one you didn't allow us to haze.

Funky: The same.. well I changed my mind…. Feel free to prank to your hearts delight.

Groovy: Funky?!

AJ: What changed your mind?

Funky: Nothing.. I just.. I have me reasons. And Reiko is NOT to know about this.

Ebony: Didn't you personally protect her from this sort of thing?

AJ: Yeah and she's not even really one of us.. can we really pull pranks on her?

Funky:[glares at them] What is the law?!

Groovy: He who breaks the law.. must go back to the house of pain!!!

Funky:[bops her on the head] NO!!! Try again.

Azul: Any new rookie, is fair game.. as part of their initiation.. we are allowed to test their mettle through pranks and all around hazing.

Funky: Well let the mayhem.. ensue.

The girls nod and leave the room.. all that is, except for Ebony and Groovy. Funky looks at them and pays them no mind. Groovy steps up to her.

Groovy: Why? I like Sabrina. Besides.. you said we couldn't.. and that if we did.. we'd have to answer to you.

Ebony: What did she do to you?

Funky:[walks off] It's not what she did to me.. it's what's she's doing to him.

Ebony: [shakes her head] Funky.. you always feel you have to look out for Miguel don't you?

Groovy: She's know him longer than any of us, and we all know.. she cares for him.

Ebony: Why.. didn't they ever get together?

Groovy:[stretches] Cause.. Funky feels a guy like Miguel.. is too much to ask for.. she feels keeping a sweet guy like him all to herself is wrong.. that and… she's cares for him too much to have him throw his life away on her.

Ebony: Boy they are a lot a like huh?

Groovy: [looks at her] Don't play dumb with me.. I've seen how YOU act when he talks to you.. let alone looks at you.

Ebony:[blushes] Um.. no.. it's nothing.. nothing at all[scurries off]

Groovy: [shakes her head] We all like him.. but we all got our reasons for not going to him. Sigh. [walks off as well]

Sabrina is at her computer working when, a pair of hands cover her eyes. She stops and then sits still for a moment.

Sabrina: I'm hoping this isn't Decadence.

Blake:[uncovers her eyes and kisses her on the cheek] Nope.. but then again it's a matter of opinion.

Sabrina:[eyes light up] Blake!!!! [gets up and gives him a hug] What are you doing here?!

Blake: Aw well I thought I'd come and surprise you at work. This place is almost impossible to find.. I let myself in.

Sabrina: Um.. okay.. but next time.. knock.

Blake: Why? You plan to work naked next time?[wicked grin]

Miguel: No..[they turn and see him standing at the door] We have a lenient dress code.. but it does press the fact that clothes MUST be worn.

Sabrina: Uh.. sorry Miguel.. he walked in unannounced.

Miguel: I'm not a mean boss.. no matter what Azul may tell you.

Blake: Um hi.. I'm Blake.[extends his hand]

Miguel: [looks at his hand] So I see. [Walks to his desk]

Blake:[moves his hand back] Nice to meet you.

Sabrina: Um.. Miguel.. I'm sorry he won't just walk in here again.. I promise.

Blake: So Miguel…. You wear that shirt for a reason? You into Kung Fu?

Miguel:[looks at him and leans on his desk] I used to be.. for about 4 years.. then I got hurt and didn't go back.. been meaning to though.[looks away]

Sabrina: I didn't know that? Hey Blake here has been in Tae Kwan Do for 15 years!

Miguel:[smiles at him] Good for him.

Blake: [walks up to him] So… how good are you.. or rather how good were you?

Miguel: Good enough.

Blake: Oh come on.. show us.

Miguel:[puts his hands in his pockets] I don't have to.. I'm confident in myself enough not to showboat. Thank you.

Blake: Well then.. let's see.

Blake high kicks Miguel. However Miguel catches his kick leaving Blake hopping around on one leg. Sabrina watches them both.

Miguel: Nice kick.. but you're speed isn't so hot…and..[kicks his leg out from under him and has him fall flat on his butt].. you reaction time stinks. [dusts his hands off] If you'll excuse me.. I have to go find my colorist,[walks off and leaves the office]

Sabrina;[helps Blake up] You okay?

Blake: Yeah..[dusts his pants off] But you boss has an attitude problem.

Sabrina: Well I don't know.. you did kick him first. Sides.. I was rather impressed with him.. he didn't strike me as the athletic type.. he's kinda moody and reserved. [looks out into the hall]

Funky: HEY!![pops in] You must be Blaine.

Blake: I'm Blake.

Funky: Like it matters. I heard you're a hot shot tae kwan do buff.

Blake: Yeah.

Funky: Well I got a black belt in Shotokan karate, bet I can nail you're scrawny tail!

Sabrina: Um Blake..

Blake: Hey no prob Sabrina.. I can take her.

Funky: I'll go easy on you.. [wicked grin]it always hurts the first time.

Sabrina watches as a loud smack is heard. She covers her eyes and hears a dull thud, She uncovers her eyes and sees Blake laying on the floor.

Funky: Didn't even touch me.[shakes her head, standing over Blake]

Sabrina: You just had to.. didn't you..[crosses her arms and looks at her]

Funky: Oh sorry.. [sarcastic tone] did I break your man?

Blake:[opens his eyes] What.. hit me?

Sabrina: Sigh.. Blake.. Funky I have seen fight.. and I know for a fact.. he's way out of your league. Especially when she's a 3^rd degree black belt.[glares at Funky]

Blake: Now you tell me.

Funky: I best go.. as a room with a guy on the floor is no place for a gal with a short skirt. Later[walks off]

Blake: [is helped up by Sabrina} I get the feeling no one likes me here.

Sabrina: Sorry about that. The people here are a bit crazy… and if it's any consolation,[blushes a bit and plays with her hair] I like you.

Blake: Well that makes it worth it. [about to kiss her but he gets nailed by two cats falling from the ceiling]

Sabrina; MIKADO… MANEKI!!!??

Maneki:[a pink cat] Um.. we got lost.

Mikado:[a blue cat} Yeah we were trying to get to the cafeteria.

Sabrina:[crosses her arms and glares at them] Through the ventilation system? [both cats scurry off]

Blake:[gets up rubbing his head] Were those housecats? TALKING housecats?!

Sabrina: Um yeah[plays with her hair] told you this place was weird.

Later Sabrina and Blake are walking in the park. Blake reaches out and takes Sabrina by the hand, she turns her head and blushes and continues walking.

Blake: I don't think I'll get attack or bothered out here.

Sabrina: No, I think we got far enough away.

Blake: Good.[takes her in his arms and tries to kiss her]

Sabrina closes her eyes and allows him to come closer. However just then a Frisbee flies and nails Blake in the head. They both look to the side and see Matt running toward them.

Sabrina: MATT?! What are you doing here?

Blake:[rubs his forehead] You know this kid?

Sabrina: Um yes. Matt, does Miguel know you're out here?

Matt: Nu uh[shakes his head] I'm here on a play date.

Blake: Ah figures.. he's the boss's little brother.

Sabrina:[kneels down to him] Oh a play date huh? With who? [Matt giggles and points. Sabrina looks and her face becomes very pale] Oh no!

Tabitha: HIIIIIIIII SAAAAAAABEEEENNNNNAAAAA!!! [skips in]

Sabrina: Tabitha!!?? What are you doing here?!

Tabitha: Playing with my boyfriend thilly. What are you doing here?

Sabrina; None of your business! How did you get here?!

Tabitha; Well mommy and daddy keeped calling you but you would not answer.. but Matt told me where you worked so they dropped me off there. Matt was already there so we played together.. Mikey didn't tell you cause he didn't want you to worry or panic.

Sabrina: [smiles] Miguel.. that was sweet of him. Is he here?

Matt: [snatches the Frisbee from Blake] No, he had work to do so he had Groovy come out with us.

Sabrina: And where is she?

The two kiddos point and they all see Groovy crawling towards them. She is out of breath and looks severely fatigued.

Sabrina: Gr..Groovy?

Groovy: [falls on the ground] Man.. these kids don't ever stop.

Tabitha: [looks Blake up and down] Who are you?

Blake: I'm Sabrina's boyfriend. [kneels down next to her]

Tabitha:[sticks her tongue out] I don't like you and my boyfriend is cuter than you.

Sabrina; Tabitha!! [glares at her]

Tabitha; Well he is!!! Anyways I thought Mikey was your boyfriend!

Sabrina: I never said that!!

Blake: Who is Mikey?

Sabrina: Miguel.

Blake: Sorry kiddos, he's not.. I am.

Tabitha: Well he's gonna be.. you'll see. Come on Matt.[runs off]

Matt:[glares at Blake] My Miguel can kick you butt. [runs off]

Groovy:[crawls after them] WAIT!!! Can't we take a small break.. say for at least a week!!!

Blake: Charming kids.

Sabrina: [plays with her hair] Um sorry, guess they're used to seeing me and Miguel together. Tabitha will come around.. and if not.. well.. I'll move far away and you won't have to worry about her again.

Blake: I'll keep that in mind.

Sabrina: Sorry. [gets closer to him] Now where were we?

Sabrina tries again to kiss him but as they do a Frisbee comes between them and blocks their kiss.

Sabrina: TABITHA!!! MATT!!!

Both: Sorry!!!

A bit later both Tabitha and Matt enter the eMenagerie building. Groovy stumbles in barely able to stand. She hobbles past Miguel.

Groovy: Take them.. I need a litterbox break. [wobbles off]

Miguel: But you don't use a litterbox!!

Groovy: Oh ..yeah.[passes out]

Miguel: Boy you two can real wear a person out huh?

Tabitha: [walks up to him] Mikey.. why aren't you Sabeena's boyfriend?

Miguel;[looks at her for a bit then kneels down] Sorry kiddo, just isn't in the cards..[looks down] it never is.

Matt: Miguel you can ask her.

Miguel: Not that easy little bro[pats his head] It's much harder with grown-ups. Not a matter of asking, and them just saying okay. Besides.. I doubt Sabrina would want me.

Tabitha; Awwww. If I were Sabeena.. I'd want you.[kisses him on the cheek]

Miguel:[smiles] Thanks.. but if you were Sabrina.. and you were with me.. who would be with Matt? I don't want him being lonely.

Tabitha: Yeah. Sorry Mikey, I can't cause I already have a boyfriend.

Miguel: Lucky him. I better go.[walks off]

Tabitha; Hey wait! Why did he go away?

Matt: Your sister is coming.

Both kids turn and see Sabrina walking towards them. Tabitha looks down the hall and sees Miguel vanish around the corner. She looks down for a bit.. rather sad. Matt gives her a hug and she picks her head up. She smiles at him as Sabrina reaches them.

Sabrina: Where's Miguel?

Matt: You chased him away.[Tabitha elbows him] I mean he had to go potty.

Sabrina: Oh well can you tell him good-bye for me.. and thank him for keeping Tabitha out of my hair for a while.[he nods] Okay come on Tabitha.. say good-bye to your boyfriend.[giggles]

Tabitha: Bye Matt, thanks for playing with me. [waves and leaves with Sabrina]

Sabrina: [walks with her] What.. no kiss good-bye for your boyfriend?

Tabitha:[glares at her] NO!! You gotta be big.. like 6 years old to kiss boys.. can't you know?

Sabrina: [smiles] Oh.. right.. I forgot that.

Matt watches them both leave then he sighs and looks down. Miguel walks towards him, kneels and gives him a hug. Matt looks up at him.

Miguel: Matt, do me and yourself a favor.. don't be like me and let your love get away. You hold on to Tabitha.. even if she does icky girl things. You'll regret it later if you push her away.

Matt: I'll be sad like you?

Miguel: [weakly nods] Yeah. Come on.. I'll take you home. [Picks up and carries Matt off with him]
