Adobe Reader

Thank you for your interest in Adobe® Reader® 7.0 — free software that lets you view, print, search, and
share Adobe Portable Document Format (PDF) files more securely using a variety of platforms and devices.

KDEPrint

KDEPrint has an “Add Printer Wizard”. The Add Printer Wizard helps you with adding and configuring a new printer. Of course, you may do this manually as well. KDEPrint helps you “discover” printers. It is able to scan the environment for available devices and queues. This works for network connections using TCP (AppSocket, aka HP® JetDirect®, or IPP) or SMB/Samba (“shared” Windows®) printers and partially for directly attached printers over parallel, serial, or USB connections..

Novell® Evolution

Novell® Evolution™ integrates e-mail, calendaring, tasks and contact management in one easy-to-use application.
As part of Novell Linux Desktop, Novell Evolution integrates smoothly with other applications and communications tools and connects to corporate communications architectures including Novell GroupWise® and Microsoft Exchange.

CheckBook Tracker

- Personal money management program
In order to leave Windows behind most people need a fully-functional money management program. CheckBook Tracker seeks to solve that problem. It has the feel and features of packages like Microsoft Money. Its features include Transaction entry similar to Microsoft Money, Import/Export QIF files straight from Money or Quicken, autocomplete payee and category fields, and autocomplete entire transaction based on recent payee.
The entire program is less than 2 MB.

Remote Desktop

"During a virtual session, only mouse commands and keystrokes are passed from the remote computer to the host computer.
The host computer, in turn, transmits a graphical view of its entire Windows Desktop to the remotely connected user.
You can remotely access just about anything from the host computer: audio, physical ports, printers and so forth."

KCalc

KCalc offers many more mathematical functions than meet the eye on a first glance. Please study the section on keyboard accelerators and modes in this handbook to learn more about the many functions available.
In addition to the usual functionality offered by most scientific calculators, KCalc offers a number of features, which I think are worthwhile pointing out:
*KCalc has a trigonometric and a statistics mode.
*KCalc allows you to cut and paste numbers from/into its display.
*KCalc features a results-stack which lets you conveniently recall previous results.
*You can configure KCalc's display colors and font.
*You can configure KCalc's precision and the number of digits after the period.
*KCalc offers a great number of useful key-bindings, which make using KCalc without using a pointing device easy.
Have fun with KCalc!
