We visited Jill and Bruce a their home in Furry Creek which
is about half an hour's drive north of West Vancouver, near Squamish. It was
great to sit on the deck and watch the seals come up and survey the water
(Howe Sound) - absolutely beautiful and peaceful.

It really makes you want to get out and walk about with
the mountains and ocean so close - nice area for interesting photos too.

The golf course is excellent, with lots of rolling
terrain, scenic vistas, and winding fairways. Apparently it's not uncommon
to lose a few golf balls. Maybe next time I'll; give it a shot.

Jill and Bruce also took us on a nice tour of Whistler.
We took the gondola up and down the mountain, walked around the village,
and drove through some housing developments with gorgeous multi-million dollar
chalets made of enormous logs. The chalets had excellent views of the mountains.
(I have no photos unfortunately.)
