Update: 2003/10/17 Emmett Ricks

I don't know if I'll be getting any more discs anytime soon I already have about 100 CD-R's. You can just have/test as many of my CD-R's as you want (I have Sony and KHypermedia). Also, you can borrow my Philips CD-RW's no problem. As for the DVD-R media, I have noticed occasional skipping on the same discs I used to burn Pilates for you.

Some notes on that:

  1. used Maxell 2X DVD-R's on a Pioneer DVR-A03 drive.
  2. don't remember what "mode" was used.
  3. burned at 2X - could possibly try burning at 1X. I will burn you another disc this way. I need to do this anyway to see if it will fix my problem too.
  4. some of my movies also skip with Maxell 2X DVD-R's.
  5. I have NEVER had problems with my Ricoh (Ritek) DVD+RW discs. All work perfectly every time. Maybe I'll just stop trying to burn DVD-R's.
  6. you can try my copy of Pilates on the DVD+RW format disc.
