I read the article searching for clues or answers to my question. The information adds nothing to what I am trying to prove or disprove, directly. Later on it occurs to me that one question to ask my peers is buried in the headline of the Retriever Weekly article, "Student Organizations."

As I have already mentioned, I had a great deal of experience with "Student Organizations" and all I can say is "Where there's people, there's politics." Student organizations certainly didn't help me to connect with my peers and form bonds. It did the opposite: it created political factions, divides, and jockeying for power. The organizations were a good proving ground to learn how to support a goal and a vision. I already had years and years behind me in corporate life so student organizations had nothing to provide in the advancement of my knowledge in supporting goals and visions. Student organizations for me was actually a step backward.
