SHOW I N MONTREAL

May, 25 1997

Théâtre Saint-Denis

Depuis le 14 mai 1976, je n'ai pu voir Tom Jones en spectacle... Et bien voilà enfin le 25 mai 1997 au Théâtre St-Denis de Montréal, j'assiste à son spectacle tant attendu. J'ai beaucoup apprécié. Le choix de ses chansons était très varié, anciens et récents succès. A la deuxième partie de son spectacle j'ai eu le bonheur de lui offrir son portrait (fusain) et en retour il m'a signé une photo de ce dernier. Je me souviendrai toujours de ce moment avec ces gens dans la salle qui lui criaient "sign it" et leurs applaudissements. Ce baiser de la main et son regard resteront en ma mémoire. Quel beau souvenir!

Since May 14, 1976, I haven't been able to see Tom Jones in show... And finally, in May 25, 1997 at St-Denis Theater of Montreal, I was excited to see him in show. I have liked that very much. The choice of his songs was varied, old and recent successes. At second part of his show, I had the good fortune to offer to him his portrait (charcoal) and he gave me an autograph on a picture taken from this portrait. I'll always remember the moment when peoples in the audience were screaming "Sign it" and applausing. I'll never forget his kiss with hand and his glance. What a nice memory!
