The Season Four Wish List!
Hello and welcome!
It's been a good year for Early Edition. So, with the season coming to a close I have decided to see how we did and are currently doing!
This year's was a bit slower compared to last years.
For those of you who may or may not be familiar with last years Wish List, here is
what we did:
You told me what you wanted to see happen on the show for fourth season. Your hopes,
your dreams, your deepest fears. I compiled them here for all to see. This list
was updated all summer and throughout the year.
When the season ends I will post a final update. Simple huh?
As an extra to the Wish List I have a separate section called Impossibilities
(formerly titled "Weird stuff that could never happen.") It's a great place for
really bizarre idea's that could only happen if the writers were on crack. We had
lot's of fun making those up last year!

I Wish...
...that Chuck would come back, at least to visit more often.
Well, we are up to TWO visits. That's not bad!
...that they'd tell us more about the Paper. Just a little more...
Well, my wishes seem to be coming true.
...someone will give the Cat his due. Come on! Everyone knows he's really in charge!
Cat's never do what you tell them to. Eh, at least he got a little credit.
...for no clip shows! Not this season, not next season. Only last season may they
do a tasteful one.

I wish that the writers could find Gary a REAL woman (ie. no vampire-slayers
AND no murderers or hypnotists for that matter). Find him a nice normal
woman...or maybe a certain detective.
You don't like the relationship they have right now? =)

...That Gary would get a permanent girlfriend that would be perfect for him
Darrin E. Matteson wishes...
I'd like to see a kind of love/hate on-again/off-again romance develop
between Gary and Brigatti. Kyle Chandler and Constance Marie play off each
other very well. Their chemistry is great. I also wouldn't mind a return
appearance (or two, or three) of Gary's NYC counterpart.
Well, how about that other guy, huh?
Steph wishes...
for there to be NO COMMERCIALS
INTERUPTING EARLY EDITION!
Well, these are wishes folks. We can always dream. Personally, I'd settle for good reception.
Tina wishes (from Germany, so she's in for a couple of surprises)...
that the writers would have the "courage" and the inspiration to
present us (= us fans) with another 'Fate'-style episode with lots of
angst and a Gary Hobson who can't set everything right for a change.
Hm... Well, there was a few times...
And I also wish that Gary could find a woman who can respect his
responsibility to the paper but can love and accept him nevertheless.
I sense a trend.
VETKR@aol.com wishes... My wish is for Gary and Marissa to become more than friends, but very
gradually, and not in an on-again off-again relationship. I also want more of the cat!!!
A late season entry
Impossibility
The cat IS the mysterious red-headed woman! Worse than that, he/she is madly in love
with Gary!
They get married and have a litter of kittens. (Sorry, that was really bad!)
