I'm always giving advice to people, friend or no, so I've decided maybe I should put some of it up here. Hope it helps someone. :)
A problem comes in two ways. The first one the only way to solve it is to overcome it. The second is a fear to face. So many different things in life are problems. In relationships it CAN BE HARD AND WE ALL KNOW IT. Sometimes certain factors make it hard for us to think clearly just because we're thinking TOO much. The other person's background, opinions, and age are common problems. I know just because some of those have happened to me. In one case age difference was a problem. The other person was more or less afraid of it. I wasn't because it wasn't as great as someone else I had dated. But in everything you can't only consider how you feel but how the other person feels too. Sometimes it seems the problem is theirs but you have to look at the fact you really can't be making it easier by refusing to accept the situation. Sometimes we can face them but never really accept them ourselves. A lot of times instead of working out a problem we look for a way out.
Hope that helps!
