On March 2, 1996, a joint line of seven women (four from Marist College
and three from New Paltz) began their membership process. Their line
"Separadas por la Distancia Unidas del Corazon" crossed on April 28, 1996.
This line signified the emergence of the Sigma chapter at Marist College.
