| Handmade in Tulipwood, with an inlay of Ebony. The tamper is polished and buffed with Carnauba wax. The base is silver. Tulipwood is also called Boise de Rose or Brazillian Pinkwood. The heartwood has alternating stripes of straw or yellow and red, or violet. It is becoming scarce and more valuable. It is found in Central Brazil. 3 7/8 inches (98 mm) high.
