Disclaimer: I don't own any of these characters!!!

Note: This is the 2nd story in my, 'Dreams Come True' series. You kind have
to read the 1st one. But enjoy and I love feedback! The song in this is 'What
the World Need's Now' By DeShannon thanx to Sabreil for that!

Also, the whole part about the wedding clothes is completely
unrealistic...call it poetic license. Weddings take months to plan, and
execute, so that whole premisce is unrealistic also...but come on this is
fanfiction, none of it's real anyways, so just go with it and enjoy!
Tuesday Dec 1st At 7:30 the next morning Buffy and Angel were still asleep. The front door opened and slammed shut; causing Buffy to jerk awake. Buffy's movement woke Angel. "Buffy? What? What is it?" "Mom's home." Angel immediately jumped up and began getting dressed, almost making Buffy laugh out loud. "Angel where are you going?" Angel looked at her, suprised. "Your mother's home, I better go before she comes up and finds me here." Buffy finally let her giggles spill out. "In case you haven't forgotten, we are getting married, she's gonna find out sooner or later. I guess it's just now. So.... you don't have to leave. I figured we might as well go down and tell her now. Besides she thinks I'm at school. OH SHIT SCHOOL! I completely forgot, and now I've missed," she glanced at the clock. "Two and a half periods...Snyder's gonna kill me!" Angel responded to this by leaning down and kissing her. She stopped worring immediatly and sighed. "Oh well school can wait." Buffy leaned up and resumed kissing Angel, finally breaking apart quite a few minutes later they dressed and went downstairs to reality. Joyce was sitting at the counter reading a newspaper. "Hey mom, what's up? How was your trip?" Joyce jumped not expecting to see Buffy so early. "Buffy, what is gods name are you doing home from school? And why is Angel here so early and... wait he's a vampire, why is he is the sunlight?" Buffy didn't know where to start, she decided to use Angel's technique. Answering all the questions in order. "Well, I'm here 'cause I slept in accidentally, Angel is here 'cause he's been sleeping here this whole week, and he's in the sun 'cause Giles found a spell to make him human. Isn't it great!!!" Joyce let out a sigh. "Oh...yes...it is." "Uh, umm, mom, there is something else." Joyce stood up and walked over to her daughter. Buffy looked at Angel who offered his support and Buffy continued. "Angel and I, we're... we're getting married! Hopefully this month!" Joyce let the news sink in and stepped back to have a seat. She took in the two people standing infront of her, looking both hopeful and anxious. Joyce knew Angel made her daughter happy, and happiness was something Buffy had for too little of. She also knew Angel was a geat guy, and that he loved Buffy deeply. Realizing that without the vampire factor Joyce really had to objection to Angel; smiling she stepped towards Buffy. "Oh Buffy that is so great. I am so happy for you," She looked over at Angel. "For the both of you!" She hugged Buffy and then Angel. "Angel I know you make Buffy happy, which makes me happy. So I accept this. You two getting married! I wish you all the love and happiness." Angel looked over at Buffy and saw her bright cheery smile. Then he turned back to Joyce. "Thank-you Joyce, I won't let you down." Joyce smiled. "Angel, you can call me Mom. You better get used to it!" Everyone was all smiles. "Oh Buffy why don't you get all the ' Scooby Gang' together after school and we can discuss your wedding." Buffy agree, and she and Angel proceeded to fill Joyce in about the week she missed. Thursday Dec. 3rd The scooby gang including Giles, Jenny, and Joyce were gathered in the library around the big table to discuss the wedding. "Ok" Joyce started. Everyone stopped chatting and turned their attention to the slayers mother. "Buffy, your father will be coming down to give you away, I checked with him this morning. Now... umm, Matron of Honor?" "Willow," Buffy replied. "Bridesmaids?" "Cordy and Jenny," Buffy said. "Ok next, Best Man?" Joyce said turning towards Angel. "Giles," he replied. "Groomsmen?" "Xander and Oz," Angel said. Buffy smiled, happy that Xander had finally gotten over the jealous thing and found Cordy. Joyce's voice snapped Buffy out of her thoughts. "Place to be wed?" The library became silent as everyone attempted to come up with a suitable place for the wedding to be held. The church, beach, her house were all suggested but none seemed quite right. Buffy and Angel both wanted something romantic and special. Then it came to her. "I've got it!" Everyone turned to Buffy. "How 'bout the roof of the school? Almost everything that's happened to us has started at this school, and a good deal of them have finished here." Buffy looked at Angel, who was wearing a big smile. "I can't think of a more perfect place." With that he leaned down and kissed her. Joyce spoke up, " The roof it is then, of course we'll have to get the approval of Principal Snyder." At this a collective groan went up. "I'll take care of it." volunteered Giles. "And if he won't listen to reason, I'm sure some of Daddy's money will pursuade him." Cordelia said with an innocent smile. Everyone in the room erupted into laugher. "Okay, then. Now, the reception?" This time, everyone yelled out at the same time, "The Bronze!" They laughed and talked some more about cake, decorations, flowers, food, and pretty much anything else that would have an bearing at all on the ceremony. It was very late, or extremely early when they had done as much as they possibly could for the night. Standing, they all went home except for the slayer to went to her fiancee's apartment. Once inside, she made her way towards the bed and collapsed. Angel went to her and sat down. "Ohh, my poor baby's tired." Buffy didn't even turn her head, she just murmured, "Yes I am. We're really rushing this I know...it's just that I feel like we've already wasted so much time, that I don't want to waste another minute." Angel whispered his agreement and started to massage her back. "Does that help?" Buffy closed her eyes and nodded. "Uh huh, feel's great." she mumbled, and Angel could tell she was falling asleep. Once she was asleep, he pulled the covers over her and then climbed in beside her, and fell asleep. Thursday Dec 10 One week later, things were moving right along for Buffy's and Angel's wedding. They were to be wed in exactly 10 days. Angel was in the basement of Buffy's house, getting a work-out, when the doorbell rang. Joyce had taken the girls out shopping, so he put on a shirt, wiped his face with a towel and went to the door. When he opened the door he was surprised to see none other than Xander. "Hey Angel, how's it going man?" Xander walked in and into the living room. Angel shut the door and followed him. "Hey, I'm fine so what's up?" Angel said. "Well Oz and Giles are waiting in the car, get ready, we are going to pick out some suits for the 'Big Event'. Let's go." Xander said. "Okay, but I really have to take a shower...I doubt the people at the tux shop would really appreciate my trying on their suits all sweaty. Why don't bring the other guys in and help yourselves to anything you want in the kitchen." Angel went upstairs, and returned fifteen minutes later wearing his usual black pants and white dress shirt. Meeting the guys in the kitchen, he cleaned up and left. Meanwhile, Joyce, Buffy, Willow, Cordelia, and Jenny were busy picking out dresses. "Mom, I really like this one." Buffy said. Joyce turned around and smiled. "Oh honey it's... it's beautiful!" Then Willow, Cordy and Jenny came in, just as she walked out of the dressing room. "Hey Buff.... WOW!" Willow said in shock. Cordy and Jenny had the same reaction. The dress Buffy chose was perfect for her. A gentle white, off the shoulder dress, with a dipped neckline, full skirt, and a fitted bodice that accentuated her curves in just the right way. She looked absolutely radiant in it. "Mom, I think I'm gonna take this one!" Joyce nodded. "It looks like we lucked out, and it won't need any alterations. That's good, 'cause we're cutting it close as it is. I hope we have the same luck with the bridesmaids dresses." Willow finally spoke, "Wow, Buffy that dress is gorgeous. It's beautiful. It's gorgeous!" "Yeah, Will you said that." Buffy said, laughing. "Ya know Buffy, Angel is gonna flip." Cordelia added. "It really is perfect for you." Jenny commented. Buffy smiled. "Thanks guys, did you guys try on those dresses?" "Yep, see," Willow said showing the dresses. The dresses Buffy chose for her bridesmaids were to die for. A soft sleevless lavendar A-line dress, with a scouped neckline, and a soft sattan ribbon tied to give it the high waisted look. Everyone would look terrific. "And they fit?" Joyce querried, a little disbelieving. The girls all nodded. "This wedding has to be the easiest one in the history of weddings." She laughed. "It was fated." Buffy said, grinning. Making their purchases, the women left the store and made their way to the shoe store. After they found shoes, they gathered up their things and left to meet thr guys for dinner. Back at the Tuxedo store, the guys were fitting on their suits. Oz and Xander were done, and were waiting for GIles and Angel whose fittings had just been completed. They were in the back changing into the close they had arrived in. Their tuxes would be ready in a couple days. "Yo people, clock is ticking, ya know resterant, girls?" Xander said just as Giles joined them where they were sitting. Xander glanced at his watch again, and then back toward the dressing rooms where Angel was still changing. "Hey Angel, there's Buffy!" Angel came hopping out of the dressing room, still putting his shoe on and looked around for Buffy, who was nowhere to be seem. He turned a glare on Xander who was laughing. "Not funny Xander! I get the picture, there I'm done!" Xander sighed and stood up. "Praise the Lord! 'K', let's go." Leaving the tux shop, they arrived at the restaurant 15 minutes later. It wasn't hard for them to find the girls. They were sitting at a long table. Each girl had a seat next to them for their respective honeys. Angel noticed right away Buffy wasn't there. "Umm. Willow where's Buffy?" Before she could answer, Buffy came up behind him and wrapped her arms aorund his waist. "Right here." Angel turned around and kissed her passionately. "Wow, what did I do to deserve that so I can do it again!" "Haven't seen you all day, I missed you." Angel replied. "Missed you too, come on let's sit down, I saved you a seat." As they ate a nice dinner, the discussed their shopping trips, and the rare luck they were having. Wednesday Dec 20 The last ten days had flown by, and the day of the wedding dawned bright and clear. Buffy and Angel would be wed at 3:00 that afternoon. Since the groom can't see the bride before the wedding, Angel had to slept at his apartment alone, and Buffy had stayed at her mother's house. Buffy was asleep when Joyce came in to wake her. "Buffy get up, it's 6:30 already." Joyce said shaking her. "UUHHH, mom I don't want to go to school." Buffy murmured. Joyce just stared at her daughter. "School? Buffy it's your wedding day! We have alot of things to do! Now get up!" Buffy smiled at her mother's words. "My Wedding Day...but I'm so tired, Mom just give me another hour." Joyce went over to the window turned to Buffy and said; "Oh look, Angel's here!" Buffy jumped from the bed and ran to the window. She looked and didn't see him. Joyce giggled. "Thought that would get you up." Joyce said before leaving the room. "Not funny mom!" Buffy stood there for a moment, before leaving to take a shower. By 8:15 Buffy had dressed in something comfortable and went downstairs for breakfast. After she finished eating she and Joybe left to meet up at Cordy's where their nails, hair, and make-up would be done. It took almost three hours for them all to get their french manicures, and another two hours for their hair and make-up. All their hair was done up in french twists, Buffy having the most extravegent style with baby's breath flowers all woven in. Their dresses were waiting for them at the library, as they were trying to avoid wrinkling them before the ceremony. At a little after two they left for the library where they would meet up with everyone else. While the girls had spent the morning getting ready, they guys had spent the time making sure everything was going according to plan. Fortunately, Snyder had not been quite as difficult to convince as they had a feared. A little time a lone with Giles and Angel had him practically giving them free run of the school. And organzing the Bronze for the reception had been easy since Oz knew the people from the Bronze rather well. The owners had agreed to close the Bronze to public use for the night and the workers even volunteered to decorate the place. At 2:00, the guys started to get their tuxes on, and by 2:45, they were looking handsome as ever. In the library office the girls had changed into their dresses. They looked absolutly gorgeous! Glancing at the clock on the wall Buffy noted the time and began pacing. In half an hour she would be married. "Buffy, honey, why don't you sit down. You will probably feel better. Your just nervous, it happens to everyone." Joyce said. "Mom it's not that. I couldn't be any less nervous, it's just that... I need to tell Angel something before we do this because if we do, afterwards when I tell him, I can't even think of the worst." Willow jumped in, "Buffy, if Angel loves you as much as he says, he will understand, whatever it is!" Jenny and Cordy nodded in agreement. "Yeah, I guess you guys are right. I want to tell you guys but I want Angel to know first. Thanks guys I don't know what I would do with out ya!" Buffy said. "Now, are you ready to get married?" Cordy shouted. Buffy nodded and Cordy continued, "Then let's get you out there." They left the confines of the library and made their way to the roof. They lined up in their order, Joyce first, Jenny second, Cordy third, Wllow fourth and finally Buffy. Joyce stuck her head out the door and signaled they were ready. The music started playing and they began walking down the aisle. Just as Cordy started down, Hank came up the stairs to stand beside his daughter. "Cutting it a little close, Dad?" Hank looked over and smiled "I know, I'm sorry." As Buffy, and her father stepped out the organ player switched to "Here Comes The Bride." Buffy look at Angel, who was already staring, awestruck, at his wife-to-be. Giles was next to him, then Xander and Oz. The seat were filled with friends from school, teachers, and some of Joyce's friends, as well as some family. There was stands with beautiful flowers on them at the end of the rows. And straight ahead was a trellis hanging over the minister and Angel. It had all her favorite flowers and some of his. She finally made it to Angel, her dad kissed her cheek and went to his seat. Buffy looked to Angel, and he just smiled and said. "You look absolutly gorgeous." Buffy smiled. "Thanks, you too! Err...handsome, I mean." Then they turned to the minister and listened. While he talked both Buffy and Angle found thier minds wondering. To the first time they met, first time they touched, first time they kissed, first time they shared that special night together. Buffy smiled at the thought of being with Angel. Buffy and Angel said their vows and exchanged rings. The minister spoke once more. "By the power vested in me I now pronounce you husband and wife." He turned to Angel. "You may kiss your bride." Angel didn't hesitate. He took Buffy in his arms and pressed his lips to hers. The passion grew and it wasn't until the cheers of the crowd and a little nudge from both Giles and Willow that they broke apart to look at the gather people, both blushing. Everyone clapped, and the newlyweds made their exit to limo which would take them to the Bronze. Inside the limo Buffy decided it was time to tell Angel her 'big secret.' As she contemplated his reaction, a million emotions flitted across her features. One being replaced by the next almost before the first one had arrived...but not before Angel noticed. His calling her name brought her back to reality. "Buffy? Buffy? What is it, what's wrong?" Buffy looked and Angel and her eyes glistened with tears. "Oh god Angel, I need to tell you something really important. I was going to tell you before, but with the wedding plans, and then Will said that you would understand and that there was no reason it couldn't wait, but maybe there was...maybe you won't want this now...I know I should have told you, but I just don't know how to say this..." Angel now was very concerned, what if she was sick, or dyin...*No! Don't even think that!* "Buffy, you can tell me anything. You know that. And nothing you can say will change my mind about wanting to be your husband, nothing!" Buffy took a deep breath. "Ok, here goes. Angel...Angel, I'm pregnant, I.. were gonna have a baby." Angel sighed with relief that it was anything life threatening. Then his breath caught as reliazation finally sunk in. *How can she, I was a vampire then and....* He was suddenly bombared by so many thoughts, that he remained quiet for a very long time. Buffy studied his face anxiously for a few moments and then began to speak. "Ok, I thought you might act this way. It's only understandable. I mean the way I just.. sprang it on you like this...and if this isn't what you want..." A sob caught in her throat, the sound snapped Angel out of his shocked reverie, and he focused in on Buffy. She was staring out the window, tears running down her face, he body shaking. "Oh, god, Buffy, I'm so sorry. It just sho.. shocked me that's all. Buffy please look at me." Buffy stayed in her position. "Buffy? Please?" Buffy hesitated but turned to face him. Even if her make-up was smeared, she still looked beautiful he thought. "I am very happy we are going to have a baby. But, I mean how? I mean, when we, well ya know, on your birthday I was a vampire, and vampires can't have 'little vampires' and we haven't... since." Buffy picked up a tissue and wiped her face, careful not to mess up her make-up anymore. "I know, the only explanation I can think of is that, since your half human, and half vamp that it would be possible. But it's yours I am sure of that. I haven't.. with anyone, I could never..." Angel smiled a smile she had been waiting to see. "I know and I trust you. Now we can really start our life. Our little family." Angel leaned over and kissed her. Then they hugged, never wanting to let each other go. "You make me so happy Buffy, just being around you, I feel like the happiest and luckiest man alive." Buffy smiled and hugged him back tighter. "I feel the same way." They sat in silence, holding each other the rest of the way to the Bronze. When they arrived, they climbed out of the limo and entered the club. Once they entered, everyone started cheering and clapping. Angel led Buffy to the dance floor where they began their first dance as husband and wife. What the world needs now is love, sweet love It's the only thing that there's just too little of What the world needs now is love, sweet love, No not just for some but for everyone. The guests all watched in happy silence, and Buffy and Angel continued to sway to the song. Lord, we don't need another mountain, There are mountains and hillsides enough to climb There are oceans and rivers enough to cross, Enough to last till the end of time. Buffy and Angel hadn't moved from their position. They still stood there swaying to the music. Arms aorund each other. Buffy head nuzzled against Angel's chest. What the world needs now is love, sweet love It's the only thing that there's just too little of What the world needs now is love, sweet love, No, not just for some but for everyone. Lord, we don't need another meadow There are cornfields and wheat fields enough to grow There are sunbeams and moonbeams enough to shine Oh listen, lord, if you want to know. As the music started to fade away, Buffy pulled away enough to look at her husband's face. What the world needs now is love, sweet love It's the only thing that there's just too little of What the world needs now is love, sweet love, No, not just for some but for everyone. No, not just for some, oh, but just for everyone. They stared deeply into each other's eyes before leaning closer for a very passionate kiss. Another song started up and the other couples started to dance. Buffy danced with her dad, Giles, Xander, and Oz. While Angel had been busy dancing with Willow, Cordelia, Jenny, and Joyce. Angel headed over to get drinks for him and Buffy. He looked for her and spotted her dancing with Xander. Again. He made his way over to them and tapped Xander on the shoulder. "Excuse me, but I would like to steal my beautiful wife away." Xander smiled and nodded walking away. Angel handed Buffy her drink. The both took a long sip. "Ya know, I like the sound of that." Angel looked at her. "What?" "Just now when you said, 'My Wife', has a nice ring to it." she said with a grin. "Don't you think, husband?" Angel smiled and wrapped his arms around her waist and pulled her closer. "I'm glad you like it, 'cause that's how it's gonna be for a long while." Buffy smiled and Angel leaned down to kiss her. Finally Buffy pulled away. "Ya know this is only our 3rd dance. We danced more with everyone else here, than with each other. I think we should dance with each other for the rest of the evening. Deal?" Angel nodded in agreement. They danced on and off for about an hour. Angel look down at Buffy near the end of one of the songs. "Did you want to tell them tonight?" "Huh? Oh! That... umm i guess if it's alright with you of course." "Buffy it's great with me." She nodded, and they continued dancing. About 20 min later, Joyce called everyone to their seats. It was time for the toastesthen cake. Willow was first. "I'd like to say a few words to Buffy and Angel. May you two live in happiness for the rest of your lives. We all know how much you two really love each other." She paused for a minute, trying to find the ending of her speech. "Live long and very happy! Cheers!" Everyone repeated and clinged their glasses together. Giles stood up slowly and started to make a toast himself. "Umm, well... I really don't know quite what to say. I think Willow pretty much covered it." He paused while everyone laughed a little. "But I really wish the two of you all the happiness the world has to offer. I don't know why me, or anyone else, I'm not gonna mention names," He paused to look at Xander " Would ever try to keep you two apart. Your love for each other is almost tangible. If only everyone could find what you've found. To Buffy and Angel!" Everyone again cheered and clapped for the happy couple. Buffy stood up followed by Angel. "Everyone.. we have a little announcement of our own. First we'd like to thank each and everyone one of you for coming and sharing this joyous moment...especially on such short notice," the guest all laughed at this. "And we thank you for all the wonderful gifts. And there's one more joy we'd like to share with all of you," Buffy paused looking over at Angel. "I'm pregnant. Were having a baby!" Everyone cheered again. Giles and Hank were a little surprised. Joyce was a little less surprised, as she had already begun to suspect as much, and everyone else was happy for them. After a few more toasts; the cake was cut; Buffy threw the bouquet which Willow caught it; Angel threw Buffy's garter and Xander got it; then dinner was served; after which everyone danced some more. It was almost ten when the newlyweds climbed onstage and spoke into the mic. "Umm. attention everyone. It's about time for us to say goodnight, as much as I hate for this party to end, we have a plane to catch. I would like to thank eveyrone again for their support, and their gifts. It really meant alot to have you here on this very special day." Buffy handed the mic to her husband "Even though I don't know some of you, thank-you for coming and thanks for the gifts. Each and everyone of you made this occasion even more special. Please drive home safely and Goodnight." Buffy and Angel walked over to join their friends and family. Joyce, Jenny, Giles, and Hank headed home. Buffy headed upstairs to the office to change while everyone else cleaned up downstairs. After while Angel realized Buffy had been gone for quite a while and made his way to the office and found sitting in a chair dozing. Coming to kneel beside her, he shook her gently. "Come on sweetheart, we've gotta get going." When she didn't respond he smiled and continued, "Oh well, guess we have to cancel the honeymoon." At this Buffy jumped up onto Angel wrapping herself around him. Legs around waist, arms around neck. "I'm up, see. Let's roll!" Angel smiled with a job well done. Buffy grabbed her things and left with her hubby following. They arrived in Hawaii at 2:00 in the morning, and headed straight to their hotel. The honeymoon sweet they had took up the entire top floor of the hotel. When they entered the room Buffy droppedher bag and moved over to the huge window. It overlooked the beach, and even though it was still dark, light were lit along the beach. Angel dropped his things and came up behind Buffy wrapping his arms around her waist, kissing her neck. "Mmm, we did it. We are finally offically together!" Buffy said as she turned to face him. Angel smiled. "Forever, that's the whole point." He leaned down to kiss her with a passion she happily returned. Not breaking the kiss, Angel scooped her up in his arms and made his way to the bed.
