All Free Persons and Tribe Friendly are to be greeted upon entering, except when a slave is serving, then they are to be greeted once their serve is complete. The Free are to be addressed simply as Master or Mistress, the only time a slave may use a Masters name is when trying to get the attention of a particular person.
Speaking to the Free in camp is not forbidden, and many fun things can be shared, as is appropriate..Free floating thoughts will be considered as speech...if they are rude or insolent expect to be corrected quickly with a hand across your face. If you have something that is not nice to say.....whisper to the person...and choose your words and thoughts carefully....and remember, Its not a slaves place to challenge the free.
Slaves do not speak in the first person. Tribe slaves also do not speak OOC in public rooms. If you must say something OOC do it in whispers, and ask permission to whisper in the room. Slaves should expect to be cuffed should they do either. Remember, a backhand across the face is not punishment, it is a correction. Even if your punishments are reserved, corrections are for all.
Do not correct another slaves actions in public....but whisper to them in polite terms.
Unruly, disruptive or insolent slaves may be asked to leave camp until their Owner is present to deal with them. The Ubar, Ubara, and Guardian have the right to kill any unruly or disruptive slaves, reserved or not.
Slaves do not handle money or weapons. except for fighting kajiru--and all of those must be approved by the Ubar. Coins can be placed in a girls mouth or in a sack around her neck. Punishment for such things is up to and including death...there are instances where a Free Person may be lenient and simply whip the slave, who should accept it as a slave should.
White silk girls do not press drinking vessels to their "passions," nor do they nerd for any besides their Master/Mistress.
Macros or Power Tools are a lazy way of serving....they are forbidden to be used. There will be swift repercussions for laziness. If a girl is not serving she is to be working.....or begging to serve. An idle slave is in no way pleasing.
Slaves will accept punishments as graciously as they accept praise...if you have to be drug kicking and screaming to the post, then expect more lashes.
Free persons are not always right, but by definition they are never wrong....a slave always has the last word...that is....Yes Master/Mistress.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Guidelines for Inter-Tribal relations ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Treaties the Paravaci are not included as they do not have a truce inplace No Tribe member will attack, dishonor or otherwise disrespect any tribe or group member that the Tuchuks hold a treaty wth...without just cause (Logged) and sent to all the Ubars. Under no circumstance will the Mun be shown disrespect! No Bickering between tribe members if you have a problem take it to your commander or to the Ubar. No DM's will be fought between tribes without the knowledge of all the Ubars and all other methods, including an HM have been exhausted to reconcile the conflict HM's will be handled with the approval of at least One commander or one Council member present. No Tribe members will interfere or become involved in another tribes business that is internal to one tribe. Tribes will not interfere with each other in reguards to NON-Tribe Members. the only exceptions to these rules will be if the non-member is personal allience/Tuchuk ,Kataii, or Kassar/Friendly in that case the sponsor or home tribe of the sponsor can Retrieve the NON-Member if a deal can be made, if not the non-member will be kept with the capturing tribe until the Ubars or council can meet. the Non-member will be treated fairly and with Honor at all times until thier case is heard. ********************************************************** Special Note The Paravaci and the Kassars will not ever designate anyone as "friendly" and will not acknowledge the category of any other Tribe. They will be considered as strangers. so warn your friendlies to stay away from the Paravaci/Kassar camps we will not come to thier rescue, as that would go against these guidelines. ************************************************************ FreeWomen of the tribe Will act with respect and Honor at all times. They will show respect to ALL Male members. Any male warrior of the tribe has the authority to punish a tribe FW as they see fit at any time with the exception of ko'laring which must go through the Ubar. If the FW is companioned it is up to him to discipline her...if he is not present then a log of her actions should be sent to him and the female bound or locked in her wagon to await him....If you feel the punishment given you was unwarranted you may send logs to a commander and the Ubar who will then review your case and handle the matter at their discretion.... Once you have made your complaint it is out of your hands and the matter dropped until you are asked to speak of it again by the commander or Ubar. You may not disrespect the warrior in any manner regardless of your opinion. If you do so, you risk further punishment. FW will yeild to the males of the tribe at all times and *within reason*. Slaves are to be dismissed by the males unless you are the owner or no males are present. GOR is NOT fair to Women, Remember its your Neck your sticking Out if you have a problem with a warrior you bring it to your commander or Ubar. Fighting and Bickering between Tribe members WILL NOT be tolerated Free Males of the tribe Will act with respect and Honor at all times. Males will Honor and Respect the Women of the tribes and treat them as an Honorable Warrior would. There will be no ko'laring of the tribe FW without permission from the Ubar unless the FW submits willingly with the exception of a ko'laring by mate. (the event must be logged and sent to all the Ubar). if you have a problem with a free Woman you may handle it as you see fit. Logs of the event should be made incase the FW decides to contest it. Fighting and Bickering between Tribe members WILL NOT be tolerated SLAVES (Refer to Slave GLs sent out separately) Slaves will NOT OOC in the rooms ((unless absolutely neccessary, I.e. House is Burning, a Limb is Missing, etc)) Slaves will treat Every Master/Mistress as if that person were her/his own Master/Mistress If a Slave angers a Master/Mistress Expect to get punished if you are a tribe Slave you can be punished by any Master/Mistress as long as they do not permanantly Damage you for your Master. Slaves that are ko'lared to the tribe are ultimately the property of the Ubar and Ubara and may also be punished by any member of the tribe as long as they are not permanently damaged ( death is permanent). ((if it is necessary to punish a slave At that Time, Send a Log of the Events leading up to the Punishment, and Your Reasons for Punishing the Slave....if their Owner or Ubara or Ubara fails to agree that there was fault, Expect to be Dealt with according to the severity of the punishment doled out to the slave)) there will be No Hair Cutting of slaves without the slaves Masters permission and no facial damage to any slave will be permitted except by her Owner in the case of a tribe slave the owner is the Ubar/Ubara of that tribe Slaves will Not Bicker between themselves when it could affect the interaction of the FreePersons in the camp, tent or wagon. Slaves with disrespectful thoughts and/or actions with ooc purposes stated will be punished as the expressions can be seen. ie...:::looks around for a mug befitting the Master with the yellow teeth::.. Slaves are to greet the free immediately as they enter and beg to serve. A Master should never have to call on a slave to fulfill His needs.. That is what you are for.... Children Children of the tribe should be treated according to their ages...ie...we dont whip six year olds....gag screaming toddlers or mash ramberries for a ten year old..... Discipline will be left to the parents unless otherwise stated....Children of the tuchuks are trained at a very early age to handle weapons but be sure yours is knowledgable before turning them loose with one. Tuchuk children have been known to die for drawing blades on tribe members...be sure you know the risks before risking his/her life. Screen Names of Tribe Members Muns are permitted one SN in the tribe only.... Chain of Command The chain of command from Law Giver to Commander...are given their titles to uphold the word of the Ubar. All are under the command of the Ubar at all times and never does one outrank or over rule his word at any time. NON-Tribe Members Occasionaly, the Ubar will allow a non~tribe member to remain in the camp as a guest. This is usually done for prospective members seeking to learn our ways and get to know us better. They will be treated with the same resepct as a tribe member as long as they are respectful to others. If the guest is asked to leave by a *Male* Tribe member in the absense of the Ubar or the guest's personal sponsor, he/she must leave the camps peacefully not return only when those that speak for him/her are present. If the guest is acting in an unappropriate manner while there are no men in the camp, a FW may ask the guest to leave in a respectful manner. Again, log the incident. Tribe guests will have no vote on tribal issues and are expected to act with honor. FreePersons outside the tribe A freeperson with Kataii or Kassar/Friendly will be treated with respect and Honor as long as they treat others with the same respect and Honor this is not Tribe dependent all friendlies will be treated as if they are /friendly to the tribe you belong to. if there is a problem it will be taken up with the persons sponsor or with the Ubar of the tribe that sponsored them. if they disrespect a tribe member then they may be detained until the sponsor or Ubar arrives. Females of the camp who allow entrance should do so knowing that if any male asks them to leave, they must go. Never permit a stranger to enter without the permission of a male unless there are none present. Again, the Paravaci/Kassar will not recognize the "friendly" designation and will treat any such as strangers if they enter the Paravaci/Kassar Camps. KEEP LOGS NON-Friendlies Any person that Enters any Tribe Camp that is not labeled as a Tavern or paga tent will be treated as a stranger, ..if they come in peace they are to be treated with caution but respect until they prove otherwise. If a Free person enters that is personally allied with a tribe member, her or she may be asked to leave by a male tribe member until his/her sponsor returns to camp. Make sure your allies know the risks...entering any Tuchuk camp IS (MUN) consent ____________________________________ Any person Entering one of our Tribes taverns or paga tents will be treated with Honor and respect as long as they deserve it. A public Tavern or Paga tent is Just that PUBLIC it matters Not where they are from No Attacks and no Ko-laring without (MUN) Consent _______________________________________
