Carrye's Excellent Poem

Cat-astrophe

When we got this "cat" last week
She seemed so nice, so tame, so meek,

But now this cat seems quite absurd,
She won't obey a single word.

Last night she snuck into the trash,
(When I woke up it was quite a mash!)

She got into my make-up and powered her paws.
She's starting to break all of my laws!

Oh, but it gets worse as time goes on,
She yanks the curtains, sees me, then she's gone.

Then one day, guess what I found?
Our goldfish lying on the ground!

Just ripped into pieces,
This disaster never ceases.

And now I think this "cat" I see,
Is hardly a "cat", she's a "Cat-tastrophe!"
