Review of "Adventures With Pooka and Bartok"
Fox Interactive has come out with a CD-ROM adventure staring Pooka, the
loveable pup from it's new movie, Anastasia . In the game, you
must guide him through various locales to help Anya learn her true
identity. On the way, Bartok will make some commentary that will give you
some clues. But, he's not exactly your friend though! Watch out
for the minions! They'll grab you into the Underworld and Bartok is
rooting for them to defeat you!
The Underworld games are fun. I think they should have been made so
you could play them separately.
The adventure game is beautifully done. The backrounds look like the
movie.
One thing though- the game is rather sort. I realize it's a kiddie
game, but still...
Overall, I'd give it a seven. It's a nice game, but could have been
a little longer and the option to play the Underworld games separate
from the regular game should have been built in.
Well, that's my view.
