Everyday more and more calves are born into a horrible fate of a lifestyle that is to be repeated throughout the generations of it's family and has been for years. Female cows born into dairies are either usded for meat or born into the same fate as their mother was only a year to four years back. She will live an average of 4 years in a dairy, being artificially inseminated and seperated from her babies in a time span of a day or two and after her time is up, she will be sent to the slaughter houses.
Male calves, are often used as veil. They are put into cages, hardly bigger than their bodies and put on an all liquid diet until their meat turns to delicacyworthy white color. If not used for veil it is put on another liquid diet, filled with steroids to make it grow massively in a small amount of time so that he can be sent to be slaughtered. Shortly thereafter he is killed and turned into everyday household items, lunch snacks, hamburgers, toothpaste, shaving creams, soaps and many other things you find in an everyday houselhold.
Because of the cruel nature of dairies and slaughter houses, I have chosen an animal byproduct free lifestyle, veganism. I do not believe that I have the right to force my beliefs upon anyone, but everyone has the right to have knowledge handed out to them. Whether or not they decide to act upon their newly acquired knowledge, is up to them. They should at least have it at their fingertips so I will put a few links that will help the open-minded, inquisitive person learn more about animal-rights and living a cruelty free life.
