"THEY DID WHAT???!!" yelled Walker Hanson. Taylor, Zac and Sierra were all sitting inside the security office inside the mall. The security officer had found Walker and Diana and Walker was standing in the room looking just a little mad.
"Well, so much for my family not acting like fools today," muttered Taylor under his breath. He looked up and saw everyone looking at him. "Uh, I hope I didn't say that out loud." Walker glared at him.
" Well, excuse me for being a fool. As I remember, I wasn't the one who went rollerblading in a mall!" Taylor, Zac and Sierra shrunk down in their seats.
"Dad, we were just having a little fun. We didn't do anything too bad..." Zac started to say. Walker interrupted him.
"Not too bad? Okay, we let off the hook when you went rollerblading in that hotel in Austraila. We let you off the hook when you and Isaac decided to go off on your own in Jakarta and you almost got killed by a mob of screaming girls. But this is different. You tried to run away from a cop. I think this is a little different. What if the press heard about this? "Taylor and Zachary Hanson arrested in a local mall for rollerblading and running away from a security guard." I think this deserves a punishment." Taylor and Zac hung their heads.
" What's he going to do to me?" Sierra whispered to Taylor. He shrugged.
" I think one week in your rooms is a good punishment. Six days and seven nights," said Walker.
Zac smirked. " That's a movie, you know. The one with Harrison Ford and what's her name. Ellen's girlfriend."
"Thank you Zac, for that piece of information," said Walker. He turned to look at Sierra. "Since you're not part of our family, I can't ground you or anything, but I should call your aunt." Sierra sighed. " But I'm not going to, because I'm sure it was the idea of someone less smarter than you to rollerblade in the mall," he said as he glared at Taylor. Sierra grinned.
" Thanks, Mr. Hanson. Sorry, Taylor," she shrugged.
" Maybe you'll be a good influence on Tay," continued Walker. " But Taylor won't be allowed out for the rest of the week."
" Well, enough of this excitement," said Diana." We better get going home. Come on, everybody to the bus." They all trudged out to the bus.
" Well, I guess I won't be seeing you for a while," said Taylor to Sierra.
" It's only a week," she answered.
" Yeah, but you've never spent a week stuck inside with your family, who are all crazy."
" I don't know, I think your family's pretty cool." Taylor looked at her increduosly. " Well, you have to awesome brothers, with who you can do the thing you love most with. And you have three adorable younger siblings. And you get to be with them all the time," she said sounding a little sad.
" You miss your family, don't you?" asked Taylor softly. She nodded.
" Yeah. I really miss them. I miss my friends too."
" Why did they send you out here, anyway?" asked Tay.
Sierra looked embarrassed. " Well..., I had some problems at my old school," she said fastly.
Taylor laughed. " You? A bad girl?"
"No! It wasn't like that. I was on the cheerleading squad and when I joined, my grades started to slip. Finals were coming up and a bunch of us on the squad would be kicked off if our grades didn't improve. So our captain got some answer sheets to the tests and we all cheated. And got caught. We didn't get expelled, only suspended, but my parents decided to take me out of public school and send me to boarding school over here. So here I am," she finished.
"Whoa," said Taylor.
" I haven't told anyone that over here yet."
" Well, I guess it's not that bad. It's not any worse than rollerblading in a mall," Taylor laughed. Sierra looked at him.
" Thanks Tay," she said as she gave him a hug.
" What was that for?" he asked.
" For understanding," she said as the bus pulled up to her house. " See you in six days, seven nights!"
