Here's my latest pics. The car is rollin on 16" Abt A3 wheels with Toyo Proxes FZ4 rubber, has some new tail lights, a Techtonics 266^ cam, Techtonics cam gear, Techtonics performance valve springs, GIAC chip, custom intake, and has a bunch of fancy interior trim. I need to get some better pics of the engine/interior, but these are pretty good for now:

In these pics, the car is riding on FK height-adjustable coilovers, has a Magnaflow full stainless catback exhaust, Votex dual round headlights, removed mudflaps and sideskirts, cleared front turn signals, smoked side markers, and superwhite city lights. This is my car, as it was when I first bought it (and before I started this modification insanity). It is a 1996 Volkswagen GTi 8 valve, with 115hp and 122 lb/ft of torque Check out the standard Hella fog lights. I've added Votex dual headlights recently, check the link above for new pics. I also installed FK coilover suspension and a Eurosport strut brace, for a lower stance and much improved handling!
I really like the stock 14" VW 5-star rims, but they are a little small. Check out my new rim selector below to see what other wheels look like on my car.
This car came with power locks, A/C, VW mud flaps, and a power tilt/sliding sunroof. The Fuba antenna on the roof is cool-it has a joint built into it about 1" off the roof so it won't snap off in carwashes.
Tinted tail lights were stock on 3rd generation GTis, they are made by Hella
This is the engine. As I said above, it's a 2.0 liter inline-4 making 115 hp. It's known as the 2.0 8V, 2.0 crossflow, or ABA engine. Despite popular belief, it does have power and will do 70 in 3rd, at 5000 rpm. It's no VR6, but it's great for a 4-cylinder. I'm planning on adding a Garrett chip soon, so more power to come. My car at sunset. A nice pic. Below in the same place, with the lights on.
I thought this picture was cool-two 1996 GTis, and 8v and a VR6, whipping around the corner. You can see the traditional GTi wheel lift during extreme cornering.
12/7/00 I added an all-new page- a RIM SELECTOR! Preview rims I like on my car! Fully interactive.Click Here
11/27/00 I put hood lifts in my GTi, what an improvement! Click HERE for pics and a how-to.
