In the small farming community of Gatlin, Nebraska, comes the child preacher Isaac. Soon after arriving he has converted all of the children to his strange religion in which there is no room for adults, and so it is that on one sunny day that the children kill all of the grown ups of the town. Three years later, a young couple arrive at Gatlin and discover the secrets of the children before being set upon by the wrath of Isaac and his ugly ginger henchman, Malachai. Separated and trapped in the small town, the couple must face the true evil of The Children of the Corn. Not as gory as you might wish, but the atmosphere more than makes up for it, along with the ‘freaky’ musical score, makes The Children Of The Corn a real Stephen King classic. I urge you to go and rent this from your local video shop if they have it, or otherwise - go and buy it and it’s gory sequels.
