The Pitbulls were a popular tag-team, managed by Francine. Not only were they crowned tag-team champions on 16 September 95, but they both had outstanding careers as singles wrestlers. Pitbull #1, Gary Wolfe, won the ECW World Television Title on 16 April '94 - Only to lose it to Mikey Whipwreck, and Pitbull #2, Anthony Durante, won the title on the 1st of June '96, defeating Shane Douglas. During Shane Douglas second reign as TV Champ in 97, he brutally injured Gary Wolfe and took Francine as his own manager - prompting the revenge match at Barely Legal against Gary's partner, Pitbull #2.
