Story

Charley Brewster is a normal American teenager whose mother thinks he watches too many late night horror films. Charley’s life is pretty uneventful - until he becomes convince that his suave and sinister neighbour Jerry Dandridge is a vampire. No one, least of all the police, will believe that Dandridge is the vicious killer responsible for a spate of bizarre murders. Charley finds an ally in Peter Vincent, a former horror film star and host of TV’s Fright Night Theatre, in his quest to nail the debonair bloodsucker. But then the nightmare really begins.

Description

Fright Night is one of the finest recent vampire movies I have seen. In fact it is the best one since The Satanic Rites Of Dracula (1972). The movie has a great story, good effects, brilliant acting done by great actors and everything else is good. The only problem I have with this movie is that it isn’t a slasher movie, but that’s just my opinion, damn it.
