“Lively pacing, convincing special effects... thrill packed scenes” - New York Times
Story
It all began in a peaceful community, a place that had never known evil... until now. But 20 years ago in a stillness beneath the waters, something sinister happened and now it’s deadly spawn has been released, coming out from the depths and into the light. First they got into the water system, now they’ll get into your system... how can they be stopped?
Description
Slugs is a weak, weak movie. A ‘friend’ of mine told me that it was good, and I had good expectations of it, but damn it! - Slugs is crap! I had read the book of Slugs by Shaun Hutson and expected a faithful movie version of it, and I was partly let down. The story was basically the same but it
does not work as a movie. The first of the problems is that the film is American, whereas the book was written and set in England. The acting is total bollocks and most of the effects are laughable, with little gore. Don’t buy Slugs unless you are a horror completest or a big Shaun Hutson fan ( I am both, but still didn’t like it that much).
