Why Jason is the BEST ?
We have some kings of horror. One with a claw like glove, another with a stupid kitchen knife and one with a chainsaw. These however, are all crap compared to the great Jason Voorhees. The master of the Machete. The King of Camp Crystal Lake and the Emperor of Horror.
First things first. Halloween is crap! The reason being that I believe that it should be a young teenage rating as there is no gore, no action and a small, SMALL, amount of deaths. Michael Myers is crap with that stupid mask. His weapon is crap! A small kitchen knife. WOW. There is only a couple of things I do like about this movie. It has a good atmosphere in the way of stalking. The musics good. See, not much. I also think Michael Myers is a bit to soft with the killings. Strangling and stabbing. He also looks to mortal.
A Nightmare on Elm Street. This is not a bad film series. The weapon Freddy uses is quite cool! Problem with these is it has a low death count again. The way he kills them in their dreams is excellent. However, I feel Freddy is a bit.....puny....compared to some killers (Jason). He is alright though.
Texas Chainsaw Massacre. Ha. This was a good film. Warped minded, but cool. Leather Face was a bit stupid but his weapon,......EXCELLENT. This film I found very sick minded but it was addictive. Thumbs up for this one.
Now the big question. The above explains why they aren't that good. This is why Jason is :-
His Death count is literally MASSIVE. His weapons are EXCELLENT. His appearence is BRILLIANT, especially in part 6 - 8. Part 6, looks just so cool with him standing in the road with the railing (spear). However, close comes part 7 when he stands up and walks out of the lake with is ribs and spine visible. His mask is the best in part 7 as well. Also, he has the best horror mask ever created. It is one of his key characteristics....the HOCKEY MASK.
The films are just great and the atmosphere is excellent. The gore is brill and the wicked mind in the way he kills his victims is astronomical.
