The absolute best FISTS Club Call on the planet is available for a club station in the One call area. The call is KF1ST. I would hope that a new or existing group from somewhere in New England would make an attempt to grab that call before it falls in the hands of somebody who cannot copy their own call at 5 wpm.
FALL 1998 ACTIVITIES
K6FFF, K7FFF, AND WA7YYY
A considerable number of K6FFF stations participated on all FISTS frequencies and there was excellent activity over the entire 8 hour session. One of the out of area members Fred Maas, KT5A, from Santa Fe, New Mexico worked a great many FISTS both domestic and DX and was the clear leader of the K6FFF operators.
The three west coast club stations, K6FFF, K7FFF, and WA7YYY will soon get together and develop another similar event.
