Name: Katie (f.k.a Kim)
Age: 23
I was born on Cape Cod on June 12, 1977.
My parents and I lived there until I was a year old.
I'm such a Gemini because I have those crazy, dualing personalities
that make me see both sides of the story.
But I'm also an INFP.
I'm 5'6, which makes me an inch taller than my fiance, J., though he
likes to think I'm only a half inch taller.
I hate spiders and I'm still kind of afraid of the dark.
I used to make one of my parents spray for monsters under my bed before
I went to sleep.
My parents got divorced when I was 18. The divorce was really difficult
because they fight more now than they did when they were married.
My parents are both very musical, so I have a natural inclination to it.
My favorite musicians seem to be contemporary masters of the piano or
guitar. Tori Amos, Ani DiFranco, Dar Williams, Bruce Hornsby, Michael
Hedges...
I started taking piano lessons when I was seven-years-old and quit when
I was 16. Quitting is the thing I regret most.
I haven't given up on journal writing, though, which I also started at
seven-years-old.
Books became my friends when I was 18. Late bloomer, I know.
I love office supplies: pens, paper, White-Out, rubber cement, drafting
paper.
I have two fetishes: blue prints and fonts.
When I was little, I wanted to become an architect, an interior decorator,
a marine biologist, a graphic designer, and a vetrinary's assistant.
I still haven't decided.
I'm a poet.
Sometimes I speak with sarcasm and cynicism, but I don't think on my
feet too quickly.
I blame that on the fact I can think abstractly easier than I can logically.
