Thank's for letting me print your poem and learn more about ACC Amy... :-) You're the best Big Sis Kathleen could have.
She sits in front of her mirror,
Conversing with her reflection.
Her words seemingly unintelligible
Are understood by both.
And wheelchairs
And stumbling blocks
Seem all she'll ever know.
Looking back from the mirror
Show a spark of hope
For promises yet to be fulfilled.
Note: The above poem was written by 15 year Amy
Tully of Wisconsin for her 10 year old sister
Kathleen. Kathleen suffers from a condition called Agenesis of the Corpus Callosum (ACC).
