January 1999

January 3, 1999- Okay, okay, maybe I won't write in this everyday, but I'll try. First of all, we had to install Internet Explorer 4.0 because of this program we bought that doesn't even work. So now it screwed up my webpage, and there's no background for this. Don't ask me why!!! Huh. I'm stumped. Tomorrow we go back to school, and I really, really DON"T want to go. I should have read that ten pages of French crap, and my calculus homework, but I didn't. I did start to read Jane Eyre for english, and I really like that so far. What else? Hmmm... Well, my dad, my brother, and me pitched in and bought a Super Nintendo. I borrowed Super Mario Land for my friend Brooke since my Dad only bought a Super GameBoy to play with. Oh well. So that's what my bro Pete is doing now. That's what I was doing before. I was supposed to go ice skating with my aunt and cousins but since we're all in the middle of an ice storm, that didn't happen. Darn it! I wanted to go real bad. Just like I have to go finish this home work, yeah, right!

January 29, 1999- Well, maybe I won't update this everyday. It turns out that I actually might have a life, even though it's not outside school. I've had sooo much homework, and swimming is taking up a lot of time. Speaking of that, I took 8 seconds off my ever changing 100 yard backstroke time!!! Yeah for me! I'm proud of myself. Today we have an away meet against South Hadley, which is where my parents went to high school. They're so excited that they invited my grandparents. I'm not even doing the backstroke either! Parents are weird. Today is a "Teacher Development Day", so we have the day off. I really need it. In other news, my Aunt Carol's boyfriend proposed, so they're getting married in July, and I get to be a bridesmaid. My Mom is going to be the maid of honor. I can't wait to help choose a dress! Well, hopefully I'll be able to write again soon, so I'll see you all later!
