November 3, 1999- Well, well, it's November. All the trees have lost their leaves (hey, that rhymes!) and it's getting to be more and more dreary outside. I have started my pre-season "training" and so I hope that I'll be in shape by the time swimming starts. My Dad put my bicycle away in the shed so I have to resort to walking around my neighborhood. It's so much fun being honked at by passing cars. =) Anywho, my life hasn't gotten anymore exciting. Last night I volunteered at the Kids Vote! election with Cherise, Peter, and Justin. That was interesting and hysterical at the same time. I don't think I'll be able to see an extension cord without laughing now. It's a keeper! Anywho again, Dawson's Creek is coming on and I still have to translate Pliny for Latin. See you later!
November 16, 1999- It's officially the holiday season and it's not even Thanksgiving yet. I'm so sick of it already, probably because Target had all their holiday stuff out around the middle of October. It should be interesting working though. There's nothing like dealing with manic Christmas shoppers. At least I'm only working the weekends now, because of swim practice. That starts in two weeks, and I can't believe it. I still need to buy some sandals and new goggles. Anyone willing to donate to the Carolyn Swim Foundation can do so by e-mailing me! =) Gotta go and eat dinner. Buh Bye!
November 22, 1999- Thank goodness it's a short week! I need the break, especially from work. I went crazy yesterday, and it wasn't even that busy. I can't wait for Friday, the busiest shopping day of the year. What was I thinking??? Anywho, now that I'm not working weeknights, I have some extra free time. I went over Dez's on Friday and we hung out and watched The Princess Bride. Funny about the resemblances, eh? Heh heh. Gotta go, my toes are cold!
