October 10, 1999- I haven't written for an extremely long time. I think I'll use that as a symbol for how fast the summer went by. Florida was great, but it was the reason that summer seemed so short. School started again, and it doesn't really feel like I'm a senior yet. I've had my senior pictures taken, plus we all had to go to the gym for the whole class picture. My classes aren't all that hard compared to other peoples'. It's just a lot of work! I've started to look at colleges. I like Mt. Holyoke a lot, and my mom's happy because she went there. I didn't like Amherst as much though. Tomorrow we're having a tour of Wheaton, which is sort of near Boston. I want a tour of Boston College, but it conflicts with Wheaton. Oh, well. I still have to go look at UNH, Bowdoin, and some others. That's about it for now. When I think of something, I'll come and write, I promise!
October 20, 1999- It's really cold in my basement, and it's not even November yet. Yuck. Well, I've been incredably busy with work and homework. It's quite a miracle that I finished so early tonight. I have to work on my research paper notecards that are due on Friday in english. I've been searching on the internet for sources, but I can't find a damn thing. It sucks. Nothing else is new. That's all that matters in my life right now: school and work. Isn't that fun???
October 29, 1999- I can't believe October is almost over. Before I know it, the snow will be flying and we'll all be running around for the holidays. Me, I'll be real busy between school, work, swim team, and college applications which are due around that time. I can't wait. =) Anywho, I couldn't think of a Halloween costume, and for the first time in my life I'm not going Trick-or-Treating. Instead, I'm working all weekend. We get to dress in costume, which should make it interesting though. I'm going to be the "Target Princess". The best I could come up with at the last minute. I think it's cute though. Nothing else to report except that my mom's rental car was scary. No one gets that but oh well!
