From where tears once flowed,
A fire now burns.
And each grieving heart
For justice now yearns.
An evil came here
To tear us apart.
To shred us to bits.
To rip us apart.
In God's holy name,
It sought to bring down
Our land and the world,
Crushed into the ground.
Innocents were lost,
And heroes were born.
The world now united.
Our country not torn.
Our flag may be tattered.
Our spirit is not.
Terror will rue
What it has begot.
Fear not, America!
The world is our friend.
Together we'll bring about
Terrorism's end.
And Satan's army
Will very soon see
That it can't destroy
This land of the free!
