Here is a poem I wrote about our experiences we had while doing unassigned territory in Kentucky.

UNASSIGNED TERRITORY IN KENTUCKY

We left to go to Kentucky on Sunday,

We look forward to the adventure that would come our way.

Nine brothers and sisters went to help the people who were in need,

Of the chance to get everlasting life hopefully.

The hours it took us to get to our destination

Gave us a chance to get to know one another better without hesitation.

We know the assignment from Jehovah was a serious one,

We know when it was time to get to work and when it was time to have fun.

The first day in the field ministry was different I must say,

Seeing how some of the people lived and the places they stayed.

Getting to some of the neighbors houses was difficult at times,

Trying to get there safely was on all of our minds

The responses were up building to all of us,

The people were eager to listen and no one really wanted to argue or fuss.

The friends at the local kingdom hall was warm and kind,

They had a share in the territory that we were assigned.

They were eager to work full days with us in the service,

Trying to find the sheep like ones who were deserving.

We had a very busy week trying to get the work done,

We know it was a wonderful privilege from the Almighty One.

The experiences we had while doing our assignment

Will be great to take back to our territory for refinement.

The brothers and sisters we meet in Kentucky may be far away,

But we know in each and every one of our hearts is where they will stay.

If you have the opportunity to do unassigned territory please do,

Take the privilege, it is DEFINITELY worth the time and effort too.
