weekly sports talk show with
creator/executive
producer/host Bruce Pearson. It is
broadcast out of Milton, Massachusetts,
and can be
seen every Wednesday at 7:30 EST, on
Milton's mctv
channel

Sports Program' and
nominated several times nation wide~~~is
now entering
it's
15th year.
It
is a very easy
going, off the wall, spontaneous show.
Bruce interviews
his guests with little preparation,
believing that
spontaneous questions add to the
interview. He is like
this with all his guests, whether it be
a professional
athlete or a high school player.
Other than the
interviews, the main part of the show is
the 'call ins'.
This gives the fans a chance to speak
their minds, make
their predictions, vent their
frustrations, and express
their opinions.
Participants are a
variety of ages, child to adult, with
varying sports
interests.
In the very near future, you will be
able to see "Sports Etc" via the
internet!
On
Sports Etc,
every
Fall marks the start of the 'Arm Chair
Quarterback'
contest, where participants call in each
week with their
Sunday football predictions.
The contest begins
this
year on Wednesday, September 30. It's not
too late to win a prize, along with our
grand prize, we will be giving away
weekly prizes!
This contest is
broken up into two age groups: Under 21
years old and
over
21 years old (if you ARE 21, then you
can't play! Just
kidding....)
The 21 and over
age
grand prize winner receives a trip to
Las Vegas during
Super Bowl week, courtesy of Las Vegas
Hilton. (With
special thanks to Chuck Espisito).
The under 21
contest
varies year to year. Depending on the
sponsor,
participants can win anything from
Bruins and Celtics
tickets, to a new mountain bike.

You can enter the

Chair Quarterback contest over the
internet! Providing
your e-mail is dated prior to kick-off,
play and win over
your internet server.
Viewing the Sports
Etc show is not neccesary in order to
enter.

Bruce Pearson's
co-host on Sports Etc is Derrick
Snowdan. Bruce says he
is
very knowledgeable about wrestling, and
an excellent
co-host......"Even though Derrick is a
Yankees fan".

Bruce is quick
to give credit to his top notch staff.
"Without them
Sports Etc would not be where it is
today."
Bruce has done
many
remotes in Florida, Las Vegas,
Connecticut, California,
and Louisiana. He has done Super Bowl
coverage for the
past 12 years.
He
also does play
by
play for Milton High School
sports.
As
a kid in
Milton,
Massachusetts, Bruce's role models were
Johnny Bucyk and
Dick Radatz.
Bruce believes
that
Boston fans are the most knowledgeable
sports fans in
the
country. Why? "Because", he says, "they
have the most
reliable and extensive media
coverage."
