For a number of years the Wade company has been supplying porcelain miniature
figurines to be enclosed, along with party hats, snaps, and mottoes, to Tom
Smith & Co. Ltd, manufactures of quality Christmas Party Crackers in England.
The molds used to manufacture the Tom Smith Party Cracker figurines in the past
are the same as those used to create the more recent USA Red Rose Circus
figurines.
For example, the following three animals were issued in 1978-1979
as part of the Tom Smith Party Cracker set:
- Male Monkey (light tan with blue teapot), #264-1,
same mold as the Circus male monkey which is chocolate brown in color.
- Female Monkey (light tan with blue apron), #264-4,
same mold as the Circus female monkey which is chocolate brown in color.
- Seal (greenish gray), #264-3,
same mold as the Circus seal which is gray in color.
These older items contrast very nicely when displayed with the more recent
Circus animals.
Tales from the Nursery
(Tom Smith Party Cracker Nurseries):
The Tales from the Nursery Set was issued during 1994-1996.
The set of 10 figurines supplied by Wade for Tom Smith & Co, Ltd consists of:

- 3. Dr. Foster (brown)
- 4. Little Jack Horner (honey color)

- 6. Little Bo Peep (tutti fruiti)
- 7. Hickory Dickory Dock (tan)
- 8. Queen of Hearts (apricot)
- 9. Humpty Dumpty (blue)

Two new molds were designed for the Boy Blue, and Ride-a-Cock Horse.
