Mylene is one of the sweetest characters to grace the series. She is the Soldier of Friendship, and she cares about everyone. While as Sailor Neptune she is a little more heartless than one might think she ought to be, this all seems to be in the name of protecting those she loves. In this sense she is very similar to Bunny. However, Mylene does not let her compassion get in the way of her duty. She is very much in love with Haruka, and they are so sweet together without being saccharine. Almost nothing can dampen Mylene's joie de vivre, except the threat of losing those she loves. She and Haruka both are very protective of Bunny, especially during the Sailor Stars segment of the manga. In fact, it is when Mylene, possessed by Sailor Galaxia, trys to kill her that Sailor Moon realizes that these are not the people she loves. Her Mylene would never try and kill the Princess she devoted her life to. It just isn't a part of her character.
