No one can beat Zoisite's laugh. It is a prolonged giggle that sounds a little
like a buzz saw. It is the sound of someone thouroughly enjoying themselves. I
first met Zoisite in the anime when Nephlite is telling Queen Beryl of his fool
proof plan to capture infinate amounts of energy. Zoisite appeared in a swirl
of flower petals and crystals. She gave her famous laugh and informed the
Nephlite that his noble plan sounded just like Jadeite's and then disapeared in
her swirl of flowers. Of course her words were much more snappy than my summary.
Zoisite is the queen of snappy lines.
Originally in the manga and the Japanese version of the show Zoistite is male.
Male or female the charecter rocks. She's a villian who obviously enjoys her job.
In my mind she is the one who coined the nickname "Cape Boy" for Tuxedo Mask. My all time favorite Zoisite line is "Tuxedo Mask? Where you hidin'? Don't you care about your little fan club anymore?" oh and also when she says "Oh I give up the great Tuxedo Mask is too strong for me." and Cape Boy actually believes her, so when he goes to pick up the rainbow crystal Zoisite has "left", she grabs it out from under him and laughs, saying "I can't believe you bought that line! Tuxedo Mask done in by his own ego!"
There is also the romantic side of Zoisite. In the manga it is implied that he and Amy were engaged, but I'm not positive. In the anime he/she and Kunsite are lovers. They are so sweet together! Zoisite is also training under Kunsite.
Zoisite in the anime dies, because she disobeys Queen Beryl and has a vindictive hayday, attempting to kill Cape Boy.
It is worth noting that of all the generals, Zoisite, has the best record of actually suceeding in her diabolical plans. Maybe it is because she so obviously relishes her job, unlike Nephlite who was only half hearted.
Besides the fact that Zoisite helps kill Nephrite, she is a deliciously evil creature, whom I would have happily kept as the only bad guy for many more weeks.
