SUMMARY:
Mwalim is an award-winning educator, performing artist and writer. Has over eleven years of experience in arts education, teaching theater arts, creative writing and humanities in colleges, secondary schools and community programs. Subjects taught, include acting, directing, comic theater, film production, literature, oral history and creative writing. Has over 16 years in theater arts and over nine years of experience in arts administration. He is a published author of both creative and critical works. Skills and experiences include, writing of grants, educational program design, curriculum development, historical and scholarly research, theatrical and cinematic directing, linear and non-liner film and video editing, and budget development.
